Diana clung to this faint hope as she looked up at the door of the conference room. All eyes were fixed

on it, some nervous, some excitedly anticipating what would happen next.

The door swung open and a group of distinguished scientists walked in, varying in age but all exuding

an air of sophistication.

Leading them was a foreign man wearing gold-rimmed glasses with refined features and elegant

demeanor. He wore an immaculate white coat with his hands tucked into his pockets; blonde hair and

blue eyes gave him an intellectual look.

It was none other than Bruno, the renowned founder of Lab 717 who also happened to be one of the

world's top university presidents!

"My goodness... it really is President Bruno..."

"The bigwigs from Lab 717 have actually come..."

Everyone stared blankly at these people before them until Selena caught sight of her mentor whom she

hadn't seen in ages; a faint smile appeared on her lips.

Bruno walked in and immediately saw his little darling among those present.

As she grew older, Selena gained a little weight and her complexion improved greatly. She no longer

looked as cold as before... In short, there were significant changes.

Patrick said coldly, "If you say another word, I'll kill you on the spot!"

Diana met many murderous eyes but for survival reasons she couldn't stop now.

could Miss Hall have used 'Sacred Pearl' against Selena?!"

"What is Miss Hall's identity?! And what about Selena?! How dare she disrespect Miss Hall openly and

question her authority forcing Miss Hall to bow down before her! Of course she should expect

retaliation!"

Bruno listened carefully but felt something wasn't quite right.

He looked around then saw Lindsay sitting across from Selena with a group of guns pointed at them

making Lindsay look pale.

And on top of that table lay 'Sacred Pearl', about to be opened!

Bruno asked coldly,"What is going on here?!"

Lindsay's delicate body trembled, but she couldn't find the words to speak.

Behind Bruno, a sophisticated female researcher stepped forward and frowned at Lindsay. "Anna, what

are you doing here? And what is this 'Sacred Pearl' business?"

Lindsay's mouth moved, but no words came out.

Diana saw that Lindsay wasn't speaking and started shouting again. "Principal Bruno, let me explain.

'Sacred Pearl' was lost in H country due to an accident before. Miss Lindsay came to the research

institute in H country to retrieve it..."

"But Selena repeatedly obstructed her and even beat up people under Lindsay's command just to

prevent her from taking back 'Sacred Pearl.'"
