Selena chuckled.

Even though she wasn't angry, her piercing gaze made the hearts of all the Central City personnel

present tighten.

"The law in Central City does not allow nobles to kill anyone at will!"

"On the contrary, as far as I know, Central City's laws are strict and fair. Anyone who commits a crime,

regardless of their status, must be treated equally!"

"Miss White hired someone to commit murder. The evidence is conclusive. This not only damages the

image of Central City but also greatly affects our relationship with both sides..."

slightly upwards and her cold gaze became even more intimidating. "Who is currently ruling Riddle

The central city representative being watched by Selena takes a deep breath and says: "Mr. Turner,

please give us two days' time - we are sure that our empire will provide you with an explanation that

satisfies you!"

Selena lightly taps on the table with her slender fingers as she smiles coldly and sarcastically: "Two

days should be enough time to solve this problem." She continues: "As Central City holds first place

among all alliance cities, it's disappointing how indecisive they are about executing murderers." Upon

hearing Selena belittle their city again, one of Central City's representatives finally loses his temper:

"Mr. Turner should choose his words carefully! It's precisely because this issue affects both countries'

diplomatic relations that more time is needed for your Empire to resolve it!"

"Our queen is just and impartial, never favoring or protecting anyone!"

"I believe that the decision of Central City will not disappoint Mr. Turner in the end!"

Selena smiled slightly, "But how come I heard that the queen of Riddle Group Empire had passed away

a year ago?"

"If she were still in power, according to what Beatrice has done in the past year, she would have been

dead long ago, wouldn't she?"

Upon hearing Selena's words, representatives from Central City were infuriated but couldn't find

anything to refute her.

When our empress was alive, everyone in the court knew not to cross her. But after her passing and

with Lillian about to take over as empress, Beatrice suddenly began acting recklessly at the research

institute. She even conducted many prohibited human experiments privately.

Although Beatrice tried to keep things discreetly hidden away, any actions taken would inevitably leave

Selena turned to Leia and said, "Announce the cause and effect of this matter publicly and let the court

pick a day to send the criminal straight to justice!"

Selena's words made all of the representatives from the center of the city turn pale.

"Mr. Turner!" The representative who spoke first looked at her with cold sweat on his forehead. "Please

wait a moment. I'll call back now. The execution in our empire... should have already happened by

As Selena had said, once it was revealed that representatives from the center of city had sent

someone to kill an opposing mechanic over a few words during an argument within H country's

The representatives from center of city bowed to Selena before leaving meeting room.

Beatrice over."

how could she allow Beatrice to get what she wanted?

Leia immediately went off to make phone calls.

Twenty minutes later, Beatrice was brought in wearing handcuffs by two court officials.

Two days in prison had stripped away any trace of delicacy or elegance that came with being born into

nobility but only served to highlight her arrogant malice even more so.

As soon as she walked in, she glared at Selena with malice. "It was you who framed me! I never did

such a thing..."

Selena casually turned her head. "Miss White knows that the things she did at the Central City

Research Institute have been thoroughly exposed by the Empire's people and made public, haven't

they?"
