Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 252

In the owner's resting lounge.

Someone knocked on the door gently, twice. Jonas arched his brows and blinked open his eyes. He sat up on the couch.

The knocks woke him up in the middle of his afternoon nap. He seemed a little upset. However, he knew that no one would bother him unless it were for something important.

"Come in."

The manager outside the door received a cold response. He went in quickly.

Jonas did not look at him. He had no expression on his face and appeared extremely aloof. He took a teapot and began brewing tea at his leisure.

The manager approached him and bowed. "Sir, there is a problem downstairs. I'm afraid only you can solve it."

Jonas remained silent. He continued as if he had not heard what the manager said.

The manager snuck a glance at him. When he saw Jonas's icy expression, he quickly lowered his head. His brow was drenched in sweat.

They had a rule. They were not to bother their boss during his downtime. Otherwise, it would be extremely troublesome for them.

That was what had happened at that moment. Their boss would say nothing when he was in a bad mood.

Except for the sounds of tea brewing, the resting lounge was deafeningly quiet. Soon, the manager's face paled.

His sweat dripped onto the floor.

Jonas was meticulous about brewing his tea, paying close attention to every step. It was not until he had a cup of freshly brewed tea in his hand and took a sip that his mood seemed to improve.

He finished his cup slowly and set it down. He then took his phone and stood up to leave.

The manager was relieved. He immediately followed after Jonas. The manager finally dared to wipe the sweat off his forehead.

Jonas walked at a leisurely pace. He looked at his phone as he walked instead of ahead. He had to switch it on since he had switched it off during his nap.

A message appeared as soon as he turned on the phone. It was from Dylan.

He tapped into it and saw a photo.

He stopped in his tracks. The manager did not expect Jonas to stop so abruptly. He would have crashed into Jonas if not for his quick reaction.

The manager immediately took a giant step back from Jonas.

Jonas ignored him and focused on the photograph. He concentrated on the man in the picture.

Dylan had sent him a photograph of Naomi and Charles. He did not edit the photo. It was as if he wanted Jonas to notice there was a man next to Naomi.

Jonas narrowed his eyes at Charles in the photograph. He examined how Charles looked at Naomi —his smile and the rest of his expression.

He even took notice of what Charles was wearing.

He turned to Naomi after observing Charles.

Naomi turned to the side to look at Charles in the photograph. She gave him a friendly smile. Her eyes sparkled. He could see Charles' reflection in her gaze.

That was the best photo Dylan had chosen. It was the photo that demonstrated how much they cared for one another.

At the same time, they looked like a great couple.

Jonas stared into Naomi's eyes for a long time. He saved the photo to his phone before cropping Naomi out of it.

He sent a message with a photo of Charles attached to it. Then, he made a call. "Find out who this is. I want all of his background information. I want to know who he has been in touch with."

"Okay."

"Get it done within the hour." RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

"Okay."

Jonas hung up and continued forward.

Naomi sat on the riverbank of Le Soleil, listening as everyone discussed the site's setup. There was one particularly difficult spot, and she feared they would have to redo it.
