Chapter 18 Chapter 18- Dinner time

JULIANA'S POV

"Ugh, I have no clothes" I groaned as I sat on the pile of my clothes.

I saw Tyberias walk out of his room and head for the stairs but he stopped once he saw me.

"What wrong?" He said as he frowned.

"I don't know what to wear for tonight" I sighed.

He though for a second. "Shopping?" He smiled

"Shopping" I nodded.

"Let me just see where I can squeeze you into my schedule. I'm a busy man." He grinned knowing he just quoted what I said to him when he first asked me out on a date. I replied to this with a laugh.

"Hello, my names Emma. Can I help you find what you're looking for?" Said the shopping assistant as we stepped into the store.

"I need an outfit for dinner" I said

"No problem, I'll see what I can find."

A couple minutes later, Emma approaches us again with multiple dresses in her hand. Tyberias sat outside the changing room while I went in to try the first dress

I stepped out in a dressing gown that I could Harley breathe in due to the corset that came with it.

I waddled over to where Tyberias was sat. He looked up at me and chuckled before shaking his head.

I quickly took it off with the assistance of Emma and tried on the next one

The next dress was... interesting to say the least. And by interesting I mean totally not appropriate to wear to dinner with Tyberias' parents.

The tight, satin, baby pink dress stuck to me like a second skin. My breasts were practically bursting out and it was barely covering my ass.

What was the lady thinking.

I slowly walked out and I heard the Tyberias choke on the water he was just drinking.

"I'm not sure how that dress got in the pile. I must've picked it up by mistake." Emma said apologetically.

I shook my head reassuringly and went to change.

I quickly slipped into the next dress and smiled as I looked into the mirror.

The light blue dress was tight but not suffocatingly tight, it hugged my curves nicely. It wasn't short and stopped at my knees. I made a mental note to pair it nicely with a black jacket and and nude pumps.

I stepped out and smiled.

"You look beautiful, Juliana" Tyberias smiled and I blushed.

"We'll take it" he nodded.

I went back in to change back into my clothes. When I came out I saw Tyberias standing waiting for me. I didn't miss the shopping bag that he held that I was sure he didn't have before. He quickly tried to hide it behind him.

"What's in the bag?" I asked.

"Something that will be of great use to me." He said and reached for the dress in my hands.

"What are you doing? I need to go pay" I frowned.

"I'm not letting you pay. You should know this by now. As long as you're with me, you're not paying for anything" he said sternly and I defeatedly let him take the dress from my hands.

It was around 7:00pm and I had finally finished getting ready for dinner that started at 7:30.

I did my makeup nicely but not over the stop.

I slowly made my way down the stairs and stopped as I reached Tyberias and smiled shyly.

"Holy shït. You look... wow. Just wow." Tyberias stuttered and I blushed.

"Thank you. You look very handsome as well" I smiled

He was dressed in his signature black suit with a dark blue tie. His messy hair was more tamed but he still looked dangerous and rough.

I reached for my black jacket and shrugged it on.

"Let's go." He announced. "Ladies first." Tyberias said and opened the front door so I could go first. I didn't miss the quiet whistle I heard when I began walking to the car. I turned back and saw him still rooted in his place but he quickly snapped out of his haze and followed behind me.

As we pulled into Tyberias' parent's house, I suddenly began feeling nervous.

Their house was massive, almost as big as Tyberias'. This didn't help to calm my nerves.

Tyberias jumped out of the driving seat and went around to open the car door for me but my body stayed glued to the seat.

"Don't be nervous, Juliana. They'll love you." Tyberias said reassuringly and placed a hand out to help me get out.

I hesitantly grabbed onto it and slowly got out.

"I can't help it" I quietly said and ran my hands up and down my arms self-consciously.

"I've got something to calm your nerves" he grinned.

"Wh-" I began but his lips brush mine. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate and demanding. I want to pull away before I lose myself but I can't seem to. In this moment, my senses have been seduced and I can no longer think straight. "Juliana" he whispers slowly, prolonging each letter as if to savor them. I smile, my heart fluttering at his voice as I clasp my hands on either side of his face. Never before has my name ever felt so wonderful, I think.

"We should stop" I mumble between our lips. I'm sure his parents wouldn't appreciate finding us making out.

"I know." He said as he pulled away and grinned.

He placed a hand on the small of my back and we began walking to the house. But as soon as we turned around, I saw two women lurking in the windows while grinning and once was filming us with her phone but they quickly ducked down when they saw me catch them.

We continued walking and just when Tyberias was going to ring the door bell, the door whipped open revealing the two women. Once of them I recognised as Tyberias' mom.

"You must be Juliana. I'm Leona, Tyberias' sister" she grinned and pulled me into a hug.

"Juliana?" I heard someone say as they walked into the room.

"Hey, Adrian" I smiled

"I didn't know you were going to be here, otherwise I would've dressed up nicer" he grinned and went in to hug me but Tyberias quickly stood in front of me and pushed Adrian back.

"Back off, Adrian" Tyberias said

"I wasn't actually going to hug her, brother. Calm down." Adrian said while surrendering.

"What's going on here?" I heard a thick Italian voice say.

"Dad, meet Juliana. Juliana, meet my father" Tyberias said.

"Antonio Romano. Pleasure to meet you" Tyberias' father said and went in to shake my hand.

I was surprised at how much Tyberias resembled his father. They both shared the same stoic expression and physique but Tyberias' father had a couple wrinkles and grey hairs. But overall he was incredibly good looking.

If that was what Tyberias would look like at that age, I would be a very lucky woman.

Assuming me and Tyberias would even be together.

"Hi, I'm Tyberias'.... friend" I said, unsure of what we actually were.

"I think you two are more than friends" I heard Leona giggle quietly and I blushed deeply. But Leona quickly stopped when her mother lightly slapped her on the arm.

"Stop embarrassing the poor girl. Come, Juliana, I'll introduce you to the rest of the family." Tyberias' mother said and led me to the spacious living room.

There, I saw a man crouched down telling off a little boy that I recognised to be Luca, from when I was babysitting.

"Stop eating all the food" the man said sternly and Luca poured and licked what I imagined as chocolate off his lips.

"Sorry" Luca mumbled adorably.

"Troy, Luca, this is Juliana, Tyberias' friend." Aria said and they both looked up to me.

"Juliana, this is Troy, Leona's husband. And this is Luca, their son" She continued.

Luca looked up at me in a funny way as if he was trying to remember where he had seen me before. Something clicked in his brain because he shot me a smile and went to hug my legs.

"It's nice to meet you" Troy smiled and shook my hand.

"You too"

"Luca has really taken a liking to you" Leona commented as she walked into the living room.

"We've met before. I babysat him a couple months ago" I said and she nodded.

The sound of the doorbell grabbed our attention.

"I didn't think we were expecting anyone else." Leona frowned.

"I'll go check who it is" Tyberias said and left the room.

"Why the fùck are you here?" I heard Tyberias say. Curiosity got the best of me as I went to see who it was, as did Leona.

We poked our heads to see the one and only Vanessa. This girls was seriously obsessed with Tyberias. Maybe it was time for her to get a hobby.

"I'm here for dinner. I'm slightly hurt I wasn't invited but I know you probably forgot." She said with a sickly smile on her face.

"How did you know we were all here?"

"I saw Leona post a picture outside this house on her snapchat story so I came right over" She said innocently.

"But I blocked you" Leona said as she came up next to her.

"Yeh, but I made a fake account" she shrugged like it was normal.

Bïtches be bonkers

"What the hell is wrong with you. There was a reason you weren't invited." Leona said.

"So you invite her and not me" she said and looked at me with disgust.

"Leave, Vanessa. I'm not going to tell you again" Tyberias finalised.

"Fine. Have fun with your new toy, Tyberias. You'll be running back to me soon enough" She sneered and walked off.

With that, Tyberias slammed the door in her face.

"I'm sorry about her" he said.

"It's fine, but we'll talk about it at home" I said and he gulped before nodding.

"Let's go" he said and placed a hand on my waist leading me to the dining room.

Dinner was delicious as expected but I had to muffle a giggle the whole time because I would always catch Luca staring at me but quickly look away and stuff food in his mouth when he got caught.

About an hour later, me and Tyberias decided to leave before Aria made Tyberias promise to bring me next time.

We arrived home in no time but I wanted to talk to Tyberias about something before we went to bed.

"Tyberias, what are we?" I asked in a small voice. I looked down at the ground, afraid of him rejecting me.

"I was going to wait for the perfect time to ask you but you're too impatient for that, aren't you?" He grinned and moved closer to me.

He lifted my chin up with his finger "I want you to be with me. I want to kiss you whenever I want. I want to hold you at night. What I'm saying is... Will you let me call you mine, Juliana? Will you be my girlfriend?"

"R-Really?" I asked and shyly smiled.

"Of course. Any guy would be lucky to have you, Juliana. Don't doubt yourself"

He made me feel something no one else ever has.

I jumped in his arms and wrapped mine around his neck.

"Yes" I whispered "I'll be your girlfriend"

When he heard this he hugged me impossibly tighter. Pouring his feelings into our embrace.

I never want this feeling to stop
