Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1838

Chapter 1838

Mrs. Barron was busy every day. After the two of them chatted for a while, Tina said goodbye to her and left.

The mobile phone rang.

When Tina saw the caller's number, she became delighted, and then she pick up the phone.

Wilson said in a deep voice. "This evening, I played LEGO toys with Isla after dinner. Just now, I read her a storybook before going to bed. Now, Sister Kaylee is coaxing her to go to sleep. Tina, when will you come back home?"

Tina felt sweet and comfortable.

Wilson's words sounded like he was urging his dear wife to go back home as early as possible.

"I'll go back home a short while later!" Tina told him with a smile. At that moment, she happened to catch sight of Desmond, who was shaking the champagne glass in his hand. Tina added, "By the way, Desmond is also here!"

Wilson was surprised. "Desmond... Really?"

"Yes!" Tina replied.

Wilson seemed to pause for a moment, and then he added in a deep voice, "I see. I'll go there and pick you up!"

Tina didn't feel anything special. She just hung up the phone with a smile.

Mrs. Barron quickly announced that the activity was over. In fact, the original end time was earlier, but as everyone was waiting to see what would happen next and didn't want to leave so easily, the

end time was postponed.

Now that they saw Tina had finished the repair work of the cheongsam, which was almost unbelievable, they left the site one after another. Some of them were still talking about it, and they thought that this was incredible. They felt that Tina was just like a magician.

Mrs. Barron had specially prepared some gifts for every participant of the activity. Everyone who was leaving would be able to receive a gift.

There were a great many people gathering up near the exit.

When Tina and the others went over there to collect the gifts, she saw that Abby was also there, chatting gracefully with another young lady standing next to her.

When they passed by each other, Tina halted her steps.

Susan saw that Tina seemed to have something to say to Abby, and therefore she and Desmond left first.

Abby nodded slightly to the young lady and turned around to look at Tina with a smile. "Miss Hall!"

Tina's eyes were as serene as a blue lake.

She was not as hypocritical as Abby. Instead, she went straight to the point and asked, "Miss Amery, have you arranged for it?"

The mastermind behind this accident was indeed Ab by.

Maya loved Wilson very much, and thus was very jealous of Tina. When she saw that Tina was wearing a huge diamond ring on her finger, Maya suffered from a heavy mental blow, as she

thought that the relationship between Tina and Wilson had reached this stage. As a result, Maya was very depressed.

However, Abby came over and told Maya that for a rich and powerful man like Wilson, he might love Tina very much only for a certain period of time. When he got bored with Tina, it was very likely that he would dump her at any time. Abby also encouraged Maya that she still had many opportunities to win Wilson's heart.

Maya mustered up her courage and became confident again because of Abby's words.

That's why Maya was willing to be used by Abby as a weapon to attack Tina.

"It's not easy to express the inexpressible..." Abby pretended to be surprised when her trick was exposed by Tina. She then try to explain with a smile, "Although I know Miss Cherry (Maya), We're just ordinary friends. It was quite normal for me to chat with her very friendly. However, what Miss Cherry had previously done to you was indeed too mean, so to speak. Fortunately, you succeeded in repairing the cheongsam in the end, and therefore Mrs. Barron didn't blame you! I feel glad for your success, but my suggestion is that you should forgive Miss Cherry."

It seemed that Abby was unwilling to admit that she had done anything wrong.

However, both of them were aware of what was going on.

Tina did not intend to argue with her aimlessly. She smiled faintly and said, "Speaking of that, I must say 'thank you' to you. The damage of the cheongsam indirectly helped me. Now that Mrs. Barron has decided to give the next quarter's contract to our studio, I actually feel very grateful to you!" This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Soon after she arrived, Tina saw that Abby and Maya were standing and talking together, she immediately became on guard.

But she still failed to avoid the accident purposefully caused by Maya.

Tina hadn't expected that Maya would use the most direct and simple method, to push her down, but she knew clearly that Maya was only jealous of her. After Tina was pushed down, Abby suggested in front of everybody that Tina must repair the cheongsam. In fact, the ultimate beneficiary of this accident was supposed to be Abby.

As Maya was just an entertainment star, she actually knew very little about apparel design. Abby was more specialized in this field.

Abby must have known the purpose of Tina and Susan coming to this activity today. Abby wanted to humiliate Tina in front of the other designers, and cause her to offend Mrs. Barron as well, so that the studio of Tina and Susan would lose the opportunity to get the contract.

However, Abby hadn't expected that Mrs. Barron would secretly help Tina.

Mrs. Barron did not choose to demonstrate her attitude in front of everyone. In fact, she wanted to give Tina a test.

Mrs. Barron was a powerful businesswoman. Although her friendship with Meadow Yamada needed to be considered, she would not easily lower her requirement on business. In other words, Mrs. Barron still needed to test whether Tina was professional in and devoted to apparel design, before she finally decided to give Tina and Susan the contract.

In the end, Tina won the contract and Mrs. Barron's trust with her own professionalism.

There was a flash of gloominess in Abby's eyes. Yet she smiled gracefully and said, "Miss Hall, I don't know what you are talking about, but I still have to congratulate you!"

The last three words of Abby were too stiff to convey the message of congratulation.

Tina curled her lips up slightly.

After Abby finished her words, Tina turned around and left to meet up with Susan.

Abby still kept a dignified smile on her face, but the fingernails of her left hand, which was hanging down, almost left a hole in her palm as the left hand was clenched into a fist tightly.

Abby took great pains to set up a trap for Tina, yet Tina won the contract and Mrs. Barron's trust by dint of her trap!

It was already very dark outside, and the moon was hanging high up in the sky.

Tina, Susan, and Desmond walked out of the hotel together. It was relatively cold at night, but as there was an air- conditioning outlet above the hotel door, which blew out warm winds, the three of them did not feel cold.

Desmond had drunk a lot of champagne during the activity, and therefore it was unsuitable for him to drive the car. He and the two girls waited for the driver to come over and pick them up.

Susan was so excited that she kept holding Tina's arm.

It was no wonder. When Tina ran into trouble just now, Susan was very worried, and she just wished that Tina would be lucky enough to get rid of the accident. She actually did not expect anything else.

Moreover, the original goal of Susan and Tina in attending tonight's activity was just to leave a good impression on Mrs. Barron. Who knew that in the end, they would actually be able to win the contract as well?

Desmond smiled mischievously and blinked his eyes. "Tina, the driver is coming over very soon. We'll send you back home!"

Tina shook her head. "Desmond, can you just help me send Susan back home?"

"What about you?" Desmond was surprised and asked.

Tina replied with a smile, "I have someone to pick me up!"

Seeing Tina's delightful eye expression, Desmond knew who she was referring to. The corners of his eyes drooped, and he snorted disdainfully.

As the activity had just ended, there were a great many people and vehicles near the entrance.

Many of the participants were waiting for their cars outside of the hotel. Maya and Abby were among them.

At this time, Tina saw a familiar black Mercedes-Benz G65.

The car stopped at the roadside, and then Wilson got off from it. He was wearing a pair of glasses with a platinum-gilded framework. Under the dim light of night, his facial features were particularly handsome. Any girl who admired Wilson would hold her breath subconsciously when he approached.

Tina immediately walked toward Wilson with a bright smile on her face.

From the corners of her eyes, she could roughly see the two beautiful figures of Abby and Maya standing there stiffly.

When Tina thought of Abby's smile which was slightly stiff, she could not help blinking her eyes and smiled cunningly.

She walked up to Wilson and did not get into the car immediately. Instead, she stood on tiptoe and kissed Wilson's thin lips.
