Chapter 1831
Chapter 1831
Bill went here to do some business. When he came out, he was very surprised to see Tina and immediately came to greet her.
Tina pursed her lips.
She had a very complicated feeling about Bill ever since she knew she was his biological daughter, so she was at a loss when seeing him again.
Tina felt like escaping from him.
However, Bill walked very fast and was already in front of her. She could not pretend that she could not see him.
Bonnie knew Bill. Seeing that he seemed to have something to do with Tina, she took the initiative to say, 'TH leave you two alone. We will wait for you in the car!"
Then, she took the walkie-talkie from Tina and walked to the car on the side of the road with other colleagues.
Bill was wearing a dark brown suit, with subtle wrinkles at the corners of his eyes. He was handsome and elegant. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
It could be seen that the wound on his head had recovered.
Tina nodded and said with a faint smile, "Chairman Amery, have you been discharged from the hospital? Are you feeling well?"
Hearing that she still called him in such a polite and distant way, Bill felt a slight throbbing pain in his heart but did not dare to ask for too much, so he just smiled.
He replied, "It was nothing serious. I just had a mild concussion. I was discharged from the hospital after staying in the hospital for two days. I'm fine now!"
"That's good!" Tina nodded.
Bill looked at her, feeling a little uneasy, and asked hesitantly, "Well, may I call you Tina? I heard that all your friends called you like that!"
Tina was not the only one who was at a loss.
After all, it was the first time for Bill to be a father.
Now that he already knew that Tina was his daughter with Ovia, he couldn't call her Miss Hall like before because it sounded quite distant.
As for Bill, he had heard about many details of Tina's life from her wife, Lin,
Tina looked down slightly and nodded slowly. "Okay."
It was just a name.
She would not be so cold and heartless to turn him down. After all, Bill looked so humble when asking her.
A smile suddenly appeared on Bill's face. He said in a gentle and guilty voice, "Tina, I'm sorry. I have been looking for an opportunity to talk to you. My mother had said many unpleasant words that day in the hospital. Please don't take it seriously. She has become increasingly grumpy when she is getting old. I apologize to you on her behalf!"
Tina shook her head and said, "I didn't take it to heart!"d said, "I didn't take it to heart!"
Bill seemed to want to get closer to her and did not want to miss such an opportunity to talk to her. "Do you have time now? Let's go have a cup of coffee and sit down to chat."
Tina smiled apologetically and politely refused. "I'm sorry, Chairman Amery. I'm still at work!"
Bill couldn't help saying, "Then when do you have time? We..."
He seemed to have realized that he was forcing her to agree. When he saw Tina's polite and distant look from beginning to end, Bill stopped asking in time.
Tina looked at the news car on the roadside and said, "I can't let my colleagues wait too long. I have to go now! Goodbye!"
"Goodbye!" Bill smiled and nodded.
Tina nodded slightly and then walked to the roadside.
After the door closed, the news car soon left her sight, and Bill also returned to his car.
Lin, who was sitting in the back seat, saw his melancholy look and asked with concern, "Is she still unwilling to be close to you?"
Lin also saw Tina. She didn't get out of the car because she'd like the father and daughter to stay along for some time.
Bill sighed and shook his head.
Not only was she not intimate with him, but she was even politer and more distant towards him than before.
"Don't be too hasty!" Lin gently held his hand to comfort him. "After all, this is not a small matter. We can't force her. Take it slow. I believe that one day she will accept you. And I will try to persuade
your mother to accept her!"
Bill nodded.
He was also afraid that if he pressed too hard, Tina would resent him even more.
Moreover, when it came to Old Madam Amery, he was also frustrated. Thinking of her mean words would always bring him a headache.
Sighing again, Bill leaned back tiredly.
Seeing this, Lin continued to ask with concern, "You look bad these days. Are you not feeling well? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
She reached out her hand to touch Bill's forehead.
To her surprise, the temperature there was a little high. It seemed that he was having a fever.
Bill shook her head with a smile. "No, I just came out of the hospital. I must have stayed in the study for too long recently and didn't have a good rest!"
Apart from official business, he had always been upset about not being able to be recognized by his daughter.
When he opened his eyes, Bill saw that Lin still looked worried. He patted her hand with a smile and said, "When we get home, get me some medicine for fever!"
"Okay!" Lin nodded.
In the morning, the bright sunshine flooded the whole city.
Wilson parked the black Mercedes-Benz Gat the gate of the kindergarten. After having breakfast, he and Tina sent Isla here in passing. When the car door was closed, they could still see Isla walking inside hand in hand with her teacher from a distance.
With rays of sunshine on Isla's tender face, her big eyes looked particularly bright.
Even Isla nearly reached the classroom, she turned back and threw them a kiss. "Bye- bye, mom and dad."
Tina and Wilson's hearts softened.
After seeing Isla off, Wilson sent Tina to the TV station.
When she unfastened her seat belt and got out of the car, Tina said, "I'll go to the hospital to see Dylan after work in the evening!"
Wilson nodded. "Well, call me when you're done. I'll pick you up!"
"Okay!" Tina replied.
She looked down, her eyelashes leaving two halfmoon-shaped shadows on her face.
Wilson pulled her closer and kissed her gently on the forehead.
The kiss was gentle and comforting.
Tina couldn't help smiling at him.
After work that night, Tina went straight to the hospital.
Out of the elevator, she saw Dylan walking in the corridor. He was wearing a blue and white hospital gown. He stood by the window facing the setting sun. The sunset glow on his face softened his
chiseled and handsome profile.
Dylan smiled. "Tina, you're here!"
He acted as if nothing had happened and smiled gently at her as usual, but the cast on his right hand looked so intolerable to her eye.
"Yes!" Tina nodded.
There was no one in the ward next. It seemed that Mrs. Koo was not there either.
Dylan took the lily bouquet from her hand and said with a smile, "The flowers are very fragrant and very suitable to be placed in my ward. Thank you!"
Tina clenched her fists. "Dylan, I'm so sorry!"
Dylan smiled.
He shook his head at her. "You don't have to say sorry to me. I was willing to do it, and it has nothing to do with you! You don't have to feel guilty because of this, as long as you don't take it as a trick to gain your sympathy!"
