PREGNANT FOR THE BILLIONAIRE

The nurses rushed out and took Elizabeth in, Edde couldn’t help but panic and pray in his mind as he ran behind them, Elizabeth was rushed into the ward and when Edde tried going in they stopped him.

“Please sir wait at the lobby” one of the nurses pleaded as Edde tried pushing her out of the door.

“I don’t trust you guys, I will burn down this goddamn place if anything happens to my girl!” Edde yelled as the securities respectfully took him away.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Edde sat on a chair at the lobby constantly checking his wrist watch as his legs vibrated impatiently waiting for positive news about Elizabeth’s condition.

It’s been about forty five minutes since Elizabeth was taken into her ward and he hasn’t still heard anything, he was getting impatient by the second.

Once he sighted a doctor coming out of her ward he rushed over to him and held his collar, almost lifting the man from the floor. “What’s wrong with her, talk to me!” Edde growled as the doctor hissed.

“Please Calm down Sir, everything is under control. Your wife is just having tokophobia, fear of childbirth and now her water broke out of the stress, she is currently in labor” the doctor said as Edde took a deep breath.

“I need to be in there with her, she needs me”.

“Yes sir, Come with me. Your wife has been seeking your presence”.

Edde entered the ward just to see Elizabeth crying and squealing in pain, he felt bad watching her go through whatever pains she was going through especially when she has a phobia for it.

“Betta darling I’m here, Please Calm down and do whatever they ask you to do” Edde said as he leaned towards Elizabeth who gave him a resounding slap on his left cheeks.

“You fool! You caused all these! If only you had control over your penis I wouldn’t have been in this situation!” She yelled as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Edde, being in shock, rubbed his cheeks as he tried hard not to laugh at her comment. “Just push, Betta”.

“Shut up! Oh Lord, just give me this one last chance to get this baby out of me and I promise not to get pregnant again” she cried, the nurses obviously had laughter hanging in their throats while Edde covered his mouth with his two palms.

“Maybe I should leave this room before you beat the hell out of me, you’re obviously angry at me” Edde shrugged as Elizabeth gave him a scornful glare.

“You leave, you die!” She yelled and turned to the nurses. “What are you guys still doing! Take this baby out of me!” She cried as they all started wearing their gloves.

“Mr Loxley, please wear these” a nurse said handing Edde some medical fits which he wore and stood next to Elizabeth.

“Betta, you can hit me all you want but please push when you’re asked to, I’m right here for you” Edde said as he pecked her lips.

“Edde, I feel like dying” She said in a cracked voice as Edde rubbed her hair softly.

“You won’t die, just fight your fears” Elizabeth nodded “She is ready now” Edde announced as Elizabeth’s legs were held up, her hand was holding tight on Edde’s out of fear and Edde did his best in being her doula.

“I can feel his head please push harder, your baby could die if he stays in here longer” the doctor said as Elizabeth pushed more with her very last strength once she heard DEATH.

“One last time please!” Elizabeth pushed with all her might and fainted out of weakness.

The baby’s crying voice was heard as a nurse took him away, some drips and injections were administered to Elizabeth to give her more strength while Edde sat on a chair beside her with his eyes tearing up.

“Will she be fine? I mean, will she wake up?” Edde inquired in agitation as the doctor nodded and smirked.

“She is just weak, she will wake up once she regains her strength. Please get some fruits like watermelons available for her, we all know that fruits help with energy” the doctor said, tapping his shoulders gently as Edde nodded with a fake smile. “I like that you care so much about her” the doctor uttered and headed out of the Ward leaving Edde alone with Elizabeth.

Edde quickly called Courtney and told her about the news and Elizabeth’s condition and as expected she panicked a little, Edde requested she get some watermelons on her way to the hospital and he ended the call now giving Elizabeth his full attention.

She looked pale, her eye bags were pinkish, her face was swollen and her hair was tattered. She looked horrible.

Once in every second that passed Edde anxiously placed his hands on her chest to be sure that she was breathing and would exhale deeply once he confirmed that she was fine.

“Elizabeth, wake up already, you’re killing me slowly” He mumbled and hissed as he rested his back on the chair.

I woke up from a deep slumber with an excruciating waist pain, my bones seem to be broken too. I gently rubbed off the blurriness in my eyes and yawned loudly as I tried sitting up.

“Oh, Elizabeth is awake!” I heard my mom’s voice as I turned to the direction to see them all seated. I didn’t even notice them all this while and they were obviously sleeping.

Edde was seated next to me but he was sleeping deeply, he must have been stressed out alot. I remembered my little drama with him while I was in labor and that made me crack up. I could see my fingerprints on his face which tells how hard I slapped him.

“Edde, Elizabeth is awake!” My mom called out again as Edde jerked up from his sleep and turned swiftly to me with his eyes still pale and dizzy.

“My love, you’re awake!” He uttered as he leaned to me, giving me a hug. “You slept for so long and our baby has been crying for food” Edde said slowly as my eyes widened.

“My baby! Oh my! where is he!” I asked anxiously as Edde pointed behind me, I turned to see Melanie keeping the baby company with some Peek-A-Boo game probably to distract him from crying and it was working real good.

“Mel, please bring him” I mumbled as she gently carried him in her arms and placed him on me, he was putting on a thick blue pajamas and a blue little head warmer to prevent him from getting cold, he was such a cute little boy which I feared would get badly hurt if isn’t treated like an egg.

I was forced to smile at the way he sucked his tongue ravenously and kicked his foot and hands, his face was wrinkling and his lips were slowly pouting, he was obviously about to cry. “He is so cute, I can cuddle him all day” I mumbled and slowly rubbed his hair. “Edde and Ray close your eyes I gotta feed my baby” I uttered jokingly as Edde sneered at me.

“Ray should close his eyes or face the wall, I have seen it all already” Edde uttered as we all laughed and watched Ray raise his hands to the air in surrender and rather walked out of the Ward.

I watched my son suck my nipples as my nipples felt ticklish, he was sucking so fast and didn’t seem like he was stopping anytime soon.

“Welcome to motherhood Etta,” Mel uttered as I smirked.

“When am I leaving this place?”

“Today, the doctor is getting you and the baby some medications” Edde replied as I nodded and turned back to my baby who was now sleeping as my nipples slipped off his mouth.

“Not us packing up lots of goodies for you thinking you will stay longer” my mom uttered as I cracked, I was equally surprised. “Yeah Elizabeth, I will be leaving for Atlanta tomorrow. I will be needing some coins”.

“of course you will” I sighed

A bag full of medicines was sent in to me by the Training nurse and some for my baby, I always hated drugs and luckily I hardly got sick.

I tossed the medications to Edde’s body as he put them in my bag, we were ready to leave the hospital already and Melanie was to drive us back home.

I couldn’t wait to take my son back home into his nursery, no I would rather he stays in our room.

“Congratulations Mr & Mrs Loxley!” I heard as we walked down the lobby, camera flashes coming from all angles. I was scared of the paparazzi coming here and stuffing my son out of air to breathe.

I managed to wave at them while I did my best to hide my son’s face. Soon our guards came in and guided our way out. Edde must have called them in.
