Sitting on a couch alone sipping a wine I watched as the guests danced to the rhythm of the loud song playing, yeah it was our after engagement party and Edde made sure that the party was simple with less crowd just few of his rich friends, Mom, his dad and Melanie.

“We will go out tomorrow for clothes shopping” His voice suddenly came in accompanied with the sound of running water.

“Also, I think we should have our separate rooms hence we don’t dovetail together” I said hopefully he changes his mind.

“Your thoughts are not valid Elizabeth, now leave me alone I am not in the talking mood right now” he said harshly as I sighed deeply tying up my hair in a bun as I lay down ready to sleep and ignore him.

I woke up the next morning from the endless noises I heard, I sat up clearing my blurry vision to see the cleaner sweeping the floor of the room. I stretched tiredly as I was not yet satisfied with my sleep and I sighed deeply.

“Good morning ma’am” the cleaner greeted me in a bow which kinda made me uncomfortable as I gave her a smile nodding to her greeting.

looking out to the balcony which was covered with a white transparent curtain and then back at the cleaner “Where is Edde?” I asked curiously as I couldn’t see him around.

“Master has gone for his morning workout, he will be back soon anyways” She said as I nodded, swinging my leg down the bed as I wondered why they called him master instead of any other title, I walked sluggishly towards the bathroom waving my thoughts away.

“You can leave now” I heard Edde’s masculine British accent telling the cleaner to leave as I went back to the room to get a glimpse of how he looks in the morning… That sounds crazy, I know.

“Good morning Edde” I said nervously, making a step back into the bathroom.

“Here are your toiletries and all you might possibly need for the morning” he said, stretching two fancy bags to me which I collected with a smile.

“Thank you” I said as I entered the bathroom.

Why is he just so cold, arrogant, rude, ruthless and all the bad qualities anyone could have and our creator still gave him body perfections and wealth when there are lots of men who deserve it more!

Stripping the pajamas I wore letting it fall freely to the floor and leaving me buck naked I walked into the running shower to have a refreshing morning bath and start a new day in Edde Loxley’s house, I still couldn’t believe that I had something to do with Edde after so many years of secretly admiring him… Yes it wasn’t all goody staying with Edde but still it was unbelievable!
