Adia tucked Addison carefully into bed before going to Cora.

“Oh am so sorry I can’t do it ” Cora bluntly refused Adia, the last thing in her list was to speak with Evans not to talk of calling him, who wanted to avoid him at cost and calling him was not even an option.

Evans would taunt her nonstop if she ever calls, not to talk of his flirtatious and perverted self, he would stop at nothing to make sure he awakens whatever desire that’s in her, which he will surely succeed at.

“No Adia, I can’t and won’t” Cora remained adamant as really didn’t want to talk to Evans, she spent years avoiding him and any other vampire from Britaris especially the ones from the elite families.

But Adia was in grave danger amongst them, because once word gets out about her and the baby, lots of people will come for her head.

Putting not only Adia in danger but the whole city as a whole because the city would be filled with blood suckers roaming about just to get one person killed.

Sebastian comes from an elite family, one of the provinces of Britaris and his family is a large one, there is definitely gonna be a power struggle.

Thankfully he has Ace and Arion the vampire twins on his side and is willing to do anything for their big brother, the same could not be said for Logan the half-brother, who was born when Sebastian was also born by another woman and since then Logan has been trying to claim a position as the rightful heir, so things won’t go down well if he finds out about Adia, he’s gonna rip her heart out and makes sure to kill the child, vampires were that ruthless.

“Please Cora, just a phone call” Adia pleaded but Cora was still hesitant.

Cora was already tired from all of Adia’s constant pleading, she signed heavily before agreeing, just a phone call.

“Alright I’ll do it” she reluctantly said as Adia hugged her and patted her.

“I know you’ll thank me later, when you guys are finally together” Adia sounded convinced while Cora rolled her eyes.

‘Thankfully it’s never gonna happen’ vampires never take relationships seriously, they love toying around with people’s emotions. And whenever they love a person they’re always committed to their love, so most of them just prevent it.

But a few still fell in love, for instance Sebastian, but his love story didn’t last for long and that’s what resulted in his ruthless self.

“I’ll be heading to my room now, night night” Cora yawned, walking lazily upstairs.
