Pregnant after One Night With The Vampire

Adia’s eyes sprang open as she got up from the bed, excitement bubbling up within her. Yesterday had been a very long day for her and the maids, as she was busy baking a birthday cake for today, which is her big day.

She rushed into the bathroom to freshen up, before running downstairs.

“Happy birthday miss Adia, ” many voices were heard, as Adia alighted the stairs.

“Oh my god, thanks so much” Adia blushed, very happy to receive love from them, her eyes scanned the room, as she discovered Sebastian was not around, well she was never expecting him.

“Happy birthday ma’am” Monica said, handing over a gift box to Adia, as the rest repeated the same, finally it was Monique’s turn as she was the last person, she walked forward, with a wide smile on her face.

Monica threw glances at her sister, that smile only meant something, she is up to no good.

“Happy birthday miss Adia” Monique gave Adia a gift box, her smile never dropping from her face.

“I wish you a long life and prosperity, and I hope this won’t be your last birthday”

“Thank you” Adia responded, suspiciously, her words still ringing in the ears, before she decided to shove it off.

Monique had come to find out about something, a situation that was a win-win for her.

Sebastian is a vampire, Adia is human, a pregnant human, and humans are not supposed to bear a vampire child, so if truly she’s pregnant, Adia won’t last till the ninth month.

But if the pregnancy belongs to someone else, that’s the man she’s been secretly seeing, that means she’ll live, and everyone will come to know about her true colors, but Monique can’t really wait till then to know the outcome of the pregnancy, she’ll have to die and it’s soon.

“Do you think we should come down?” Ace asked, they’ve been standing here for quite a while now, as they arrived the day before.

“No let them enjoy their little joyful moment, it can be the last for Adia, she deserves it, right?” Arion’s lips curved up, as Ace gave out an Exasperated sigh.

” I wished I could,” Arion replied, as Ace sneered at him.

” What do we do now, do you guys wanna join in the fun?” Rowan asked, speaking for the first time.

” I suggest we wait and see, how things turns out, I have a feeling today’s gonna be such an interesting day”

” Ok ma’am, make a wish ” Monica said, bringing the beautifully decorated Dacquoise cake, placing it on the table” Adia blew out the candle, making a wish.

She hoped Cora and Addison were here, but they’ve not arrived yet, but she knew inwardly that they’re gonna come.

Her wish was a very simple one, Addison is safe, sound and healthy, that she has nothing to worry about anymore, knowing she’s safe.

Making her wish, everyone made a merry sound, as they danced and clapped at the top of their voices.

After giving everybody, their share of the cake, Adia looked around pleased and satisfied, when someone spoke out, it was Mickelson, startling everyone, as that man hardly speaks,

“What about the master ma’am, today’s also his birthday, why don’t you go and give him a share of the cake, I’m sure he’d be pleased” Mickelson really despised himself for whatever he’s doing right now, and hated Arion more, he had no idea what that sly fox had in his mind, but he’s sure it’s not gonna be a good outcome.

Monique looked round the room silently, as the whole places immediately turned silent like a graveyard,

‘What the hell is wrong with him, us he drunk, but vampires hardly get drunk, don’t they’ was the thought that lingered in everyone’s mind.

Monique’s head was still working on some calculations, when she saw the three older god damned handsome vampires upstairs, at a high ground, they were in a position that it would be hard for anyone to notice them, but her eagle eyes had already caught sight of them.

She could see Arion’s lips curving up, and immediately came to a conclusion that he’s up to no good, he probably wants her dead too, she thought as an idea struck her.

Anyone that goes to Sebastian’s room on this very date, never makes it out alive, and everyone here is fully aware of it, but here the vampires are trying to get her there using Mickelson, because they want her dead.

“Yes miss Adia, go on” she cheered, trying to mount pressure on Adia.

“Come on ma’am today’s also sir’s birthday, go on and make today memorable” she added smiling brightly.

’cause it’s gonna be your death memorial’ she sneered inwardly, still cheering Adia up.

“I.. I…” Adia stuttered, not knowing what to say, she really wanted to celebrate Seb’s birthday with him, but he’s not even no where to be found, she’s not seen him since the last time they spoke.

“Ohkay” she agreed, as Monique quickly cut a piece of cake on a plate.

“Go have fun ma’am” Adia smiled walking upstairs, as the rest of the servants watched speechless, she couldn’t go up. Monica was about to speak out, but was stopped by Mickelson, who gave her a warning glare.

“I think we should stop her” Ace said as Adia climbed up the stairs, he can never trust his brothers with a person’s life, especially when they’re angry.

“No let her be, but I’ll suggest we hang around Incase of any emergency, right now, we have another problem” Arion said as they all moved their gaze to Monique’s direction.

” It’s always so easy to spot an enemy,” Ace commented, shaking his head.

” She’s up to something, I’ll have Mickelson watch her, right now, let’s go catch some fun”
