Sebastian sat on the bed with Adia still wrapped in his hands. The only difference now was that she was asleep and making sniffling sounds that sounded like pains to his ears.
He’s been sitting here for more than thirty minutes now and hasn’t moved an inch, he didn’t want to wake her up, so he’ll just wait patiently till she’s awake.
Sebastian couldn’t fathom why he was doing this to her and acting so passionate to her, maybe he’s because she’s suffered too much because of him and he pitied her, or is it because she has found a special place in his heart, because no matter how much he tries to push her away and act cold to her, she just seems to be melting him softly, and out of nowhere he treats her like an egg, he just hoped it should not be the latter, he’s going to let her go once she delivers, she deserves better than this.
A knock came through ad he lifted his head up answering the call,
“Who?” He asked,
“Arion, matters arising”
“Be out in five,” he replied standing on his feet as he gently placed Adia on the bed, tucking her under the duvet, covering her up, and he made sure to cover her exposed body.
He was about to go grab a shirt when the door sprang open, he knew this was bound to happen, knowing the kind of brother he has Arion will definitely burst in, he’s so lucky he didn’t see any part of Adia, or this would be the last day he’ll ever be able to see the beauty of earth.
“What part of I’ll be out in five don’t you understand?” He asked, grabbing a shirt from his closet.
” Seriously Seb, I was just curious to see who owned the heartbeats I was hearing, so I decided to check for myself” he said shrugging his shoulders.
” I see you’ve grown a liking towards the human, you never share your bed with anyone” he said smacking his lips.
” Shut up, what is it that you want to say?”
” We can discuss that outside, just know your little chick has become a hot cake in Britaris, as everyone is curious about the human carrying a hybrid,” Ace informed while Sebastian wore his shirt.
” We can talk in my study” he said leading Arion out, as he closed the door behind him, what he feared the most is already happening, and that’s for words to get out about Adia’s pregnancy, now everyone will come seeking her, those with good or bad intentions, even the ones that seeks more power, just like his father, the only left fir him now is to make sure no harm comes to Adia.

Adia threw the bed covers as she scrambled out of the bed.
“What the hell has happened?” She asked herself in horror, seeing her upper body was still naked, she rushed to the table that her shirt was lying on, as she quickly put in on.
From the Look of things Sebastian was not present in the room, so this was the perfect opportunity for her to flee, without thinking twice, Adia was already out of the room as she looked at the door behind her.
“Looks as if you’re doing better now” a voice said from behind her, as Adia yelped in shock as she turned instantly only to see Arion standing there,
When did he seriously get here?, Adia asked herself horrified, now that she knows about them, that they’re vampires, they don’t even care to hide their powers anymore.

“How are you doing now?” He asked Adia who glared at him.
“Why do you care? I know you don’t mean well for me,” she stated as he nodded his head momentarily.
” True” he replied, still nodding his head.
“I see you’re having a good time with my brother” he said as Adia just ignored him.
“Well enjoy it while it lasts, you guys being together is contracted anyway,”
He added.
“Are you done?” Adia asked so she can leave his annoying presence immediately, he likes speaking in words she never understand and it infuriates her a lot.
“Not really, I just came to give you a tiny gossip”
“And what might that be?” Adia inquired, because the fact that Arion is actually speaking to her is a rare sight, he is only sent around her, whenever he wants to make trouble or sprout rubbish.
“I’m so shocked you never even wondered where Mickelson might be, huh?” He asked raising his brows at Adia
” He’s currently having a vacation” she responded, stating the obvious as Arion suddenly burst out laughing.
” Oh gosh, that’s the cock and bull story, Sebastian told you?” He said, still laughing as Adia just stood puzzled.
If he’s not on a vacation, where else can he be?
” Look Adia, I’ve been meaning to tell you this for weeks now, but couldn’t, now you know about us vampires, There’s nothing to hide, sister in law” he uttered the last words sarcastically.
Arion has already found out about what he wanted to know and that’s Sebastian has grown fond of the human, even though he tries to hide it and acts as if he doesn’t care about her, he saw Sebastian’s reactions during the time Adia was abducted, and that was enough proof for him.
“Your husband, sorry contracted husband Sebastian has dessicated Mickelson since the incident at your birthday party” he announced as Adia stared blankly at him, she really wanted to throw a punch at him for his sarcastic words, but it seemed as if Mickelson was in trouble, a serious one at that.
“Dessica….”
“Dessicated, Adia” Arion drawled out.
“In other words, Mickelson is like a living dead now, I’m sure he’s still alive, but I don’t know where Sebastian hid him, or where he left him dessicated, so you’re gonna help me convince Sebastian to let him out”
” And what makes you think he’ll listen to me?” Adia asked,
” I don’t know, but you’ll have to figure out a way to free Mickelson from the shackles of suffering, he’s been nothing but a loyal servant to you” Arion phrased out playing with the lighter he held in his hands.
” I’m not sure….” Adia hesitantly said,
“Just figure something out, sister in law, I sense your husband is around,” he said, moving away from Adia, before Sebastian catches him talking to her.
