Sebastian stared hard at Adia, as he processed what she said in his head, what does she mean by anything can happen?, She’s not accepting defeat just yet, well he’s not going to let anything happen to her, and do all he can to find a witch to save her and make her live.
“Come here, what are you thinking of?” Adia tapped him as she waved two hats in front of him.
“What do you think of these huh..” she asked still waving the hats,
“They’re beautiful..” Sebastian replied,
“Perfect, I’ll take these, look they’re both perfect matches for twins..” she stated smiling brightly,
“I’ll find something else, come on help me find something ..” she dragged him to the next section, as she reached out for a pair of shoes.
“What about this?,”she asked as Sebastian shook his head as he spoke,
“I don’t like this, it’s too bland ”
“Right?”
“I was thinking the same thing also, I’ll try something else..” She kept on searching for the perfect pairs of shoes for babies. The search was a very long one, as she still hadn’t found what she needed, the best of all.
“What about these ones..” she pointed at a pair of blue shoes, the other pink but with the same design.
“I think they look great..”

“It’s beautiful Sebastian..” she admired the shoes she was holding as she felt her eyes tearing up, but she fought so hard to hold back her tears, there’s no need to cry, she just has to be happy,
“I know..” he said in a cold voice.
“Come on Seb, shake it off, you’ve been acting quite weird today, you have to get it off your head , and focus on today..” she advised searching for the next available thing to buy, as she shoved the pair of shoes into the shopping basket she was holding.
“There’s no need in all these Adia, you don’t even know the sex of the babies..” he pointed out as she frowned.
“That’s to show how incompetent you are, aren’t you meant the know the sex already, spare me that Sebastian, we can talk later, now let me focus on my shopping ” she waved him off,
“You’ve not even discussed the names, we’re giving our kids..* she pouted, she seriously has no name on mind, and would loved to name her kids, just Incase luck doesn’t shine in her in the future,
“We can always do that in the future, Adia..”
“And the future Is now..” she chimed in,
“Now be quiet, I’m busy…” she snapped at him.

“So where are we going next?” Adia asked Sebastian who was holding two shopping bags In his hands.
“Anywhere, that’s up for you to decide..” he replied, keeping the bags in the car trunk.
“Okay, we can go out to eat, oh sorry I forgot, vampires live here, so I’m not sure there’s going to be any good restaurant around” she reasoned,
“Well we can visit the woods…” she suggested,
“Okay, I’ll we’ll go there, after you have something to eat” he stated,
“How am I going to find food in a place like this?”
“I have a friend, she makes good food..” he informed, opening the car for her to go in.
“She??” Adia raised a brow at him, as she got into the car.
“Yes she, and just a friend,” he deadpanned, Adia’s jealousy is seriously going to the next level.
“Don’t worry I’m not gonna to eat anything anymore”
“Are you serious Adia?” Sebastian’s brows furrowed,
“Don’t tell me you’re going hungry, because you’re feeling jealous?”
“Not at all, it’s just that I don’t want to see you..” Adia stopped in her tracks, as she felt a lump form in her throat, she began to cough vigorously, as Sebastian quickly tended to her to see what is going on, from the looks of things she’s not fine, in fact she has not been looking fine and that fact has been bothering him for quite a long time now, he knows Adia was hiding something from him, prior to her strange behaviors, something must definitely be wrong with her.
“Are you alright?” He asked stroking her back softly,
“Yes I’m fine..” Adia managed to utter still coughing, she just hopes it’s not what she thinks it is, what happened Earlier today must not repeat itself, at least not yet.
“Here have some water..” he offered, from the way he was seeing things, her health is slowly deteriorating, this morning she was looking pale, and kind of malnourished, as if she was drained off blood, well she’s being drained off blood, as the babies inside of her are basically feeding on her blood.
“Thanks..” Adia stammered collecting the drink water from him as she took a big gulp from it, something is wrong with her, and it might be getting worse.
“Are you feeling better now?” He asked after sometime,
“Yeah I guess..” she replied, wiping the corner of her lips.
“Adia ” Sebastian called warmly,
“Yes…”
“Is there something you’re not telling me?” He asked out of the blue.
“I don’t get you..” Adia chuckled sheepishly.
“I know you’re not fine, because you don’t look fine, I’ve noticed this for the past few days..” he voiced out, but it was too sudden for her to start feeling the symptoms, he didn’t expect it to happen this soon.
“I’m good, it’s just that…” Adia suddenly began to start coughing, this time a little harder than the first time, she coughed violently placing her palm on her mouth, her chest aches a lot, and she feels this sharp pain each time she coughs, why is this happening now?, She thought bitterly.
“Adia, you’re clearly not okay..” Sebastian blurted out, there’s nothing she’s going to tell him now that will make him believe that she’s fine.
He was about to utter another word, when his nose hit the sharp smell of blood, she looked up at Adia, and noticed she was looking quite uneasy, with her palm across her mouth, obviously trying to hide something.
He quickly reached for her hand, removing it from her mouth, to see what she was hiding and was shocked beyond measure when he saw what it was, BLOOD!!!
