AT THE STREETS OF ORLEANS…
Arion sped past the dark streets of Orleans, trying to find a new place to settle for tonight, he has ransacked the whole of Orleans, and still hasn’t found anything that can help, he has this feeling that what he was trying to find was within his reach, but he just can’t seem to get a grasp of it.
“Fuckers..” he caused, sighting a commotion at the front, he doesn’t care what’s going on there, as he’ll just mind his business and go his way, but they’re in the middle of the road and the man is seemingly molesting the girl.
“Hey..” he rolled his windows down when he got there, as he pointed at the man who snapped his head quickly to look at the intruder.
“A vampire..” he chuckled, seeing the man’s fangs and bloodshot eyes, so he’s trying to feed on the girl afterall.
“Get out of my way…” he tapped his fingers on the car’s wheel noisily waiting for them to clear his way.
“You really have no fear huh..” the vampire raises a brow at Arion, marveling at his braveness, he didn’t even flinch at the sight of his fangs and eyes, well it’s a plus two for him, as he’s going to feed on both him and the girl today.
“Fear of what?” Arion chuckled at the vampire’s naivety, he was obviously bitten, the color of his eyes was a lighter shade of red, unlike the twilight vampires whose eye Color was dark red.
“Me of course, come out you..” he beckoned, and before Arion could say anything else, the vampire had already broken his car door, removing it as he tossed it away.
Arion clicked his tongue calmly glancing sideways at the vampire, whatever he had going here was never his business, nor he just made him mad, he shot a glare at the girl, or young girl rather, who stood shakily at a corner.
“Get out..” the vampire growled loudly, banging the car, as he bared his fangs at Arion, who didn’t even bait an eye at him, making him more furious.
“What’s your name?” Arion questioned calmly, as he stepped out of the car like a savage lord.
“Brian…” the man replied,
“Brian Harper, age, thirty two, oh wait, you’ve actually lived for eighty years..” Arion voiced out smacking his lips distastefully,
“No wonder you’re so stupid..” he added as Brian growled in anger, on the other hand curious on how Arion knew so much about him.
“I don’t have anything to do with you Brian, as you can see, you destroyed my car and is supposed to pay for it, but I’ll let you off this time, get out of my way and enjoy your meal..” he stated, but the girl suddenly stepped out as she grabbed Arion’s arms,
“Please sir, don’t leave me with him..” she begged shakily, as Arion snapped at her,
“Let go of me, young girl, deal with your problems yourself..” he said, releasing her from his hold, red haired, green eyed, and too young to die.
“Please sir, he’ll kill me, I’m so scared, don’t leave me with him..” she pleaded, grabbing his hands for the second time, as she trembled, she really didn’t want to die, in the hands of a vampire.
“You were about to die anyway, just pretend as if you never saw me..” he rolled his eyes, he really hates involving himself in matters like this,
“But sir, you’re my only hope, please…” she begged, not losing hope, feeling certain that Arion is the only one that can get her out of this mess, she could have just listened to her sister and stayed back.
“Trust me sweetheart, you can only wish you never met me, you’re better off with me, at least you get to die peacefully..” he raked his fingers through his hair, which had already become damp with sweat.
“So you’re really going to leave me here, to die..” she questioned meaningfully,
“You were about to die anyway, I didn’t put you in this..”
“I can’t die sir, I’m just seventeen, I’m too young to die, I haven’t attended prom, or had my first kiss, please I still have a lot of things to do, help me please…” she pleaded in tears, as Arion took a good look at her as his jaw worked.
“Then what are you doing here, by this time at night, you’re meant to be at home, little girl..”
“Yes, the thing is I ran away from home, please just don’t let him feed on me..” she muttered, glancing at Brian who stared impatiently at them, baring his fangs.
“Then you should have stayed at home..” he uttered, releasing her hold from him, as he diverted his attention to his car.
“Sir, no, don’t leave me here with him, he’s trying to force himself on me, don’t leave me here..” she pleaded nonstop as Arion turned back to face them, it seems as if he has already made up his mind.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
“Come with me..” he finally said as the girl breathed in relief, running to hold Arion without even thinking twice.
“Thanks so much sir…” she breathed out standing behind Arion as Brian stared angrily at them.
“You, how dare you take her, she’s my next meal!!” Brian yelled in anger, his voice vibrating, as the girl tightened her grip on Arion burying her head on his back.
“Well, find someone else, she’s off limits now..”Arion phased out, bored of this whole drama, he never intended to spend such a long time here.
“And who are you to say so?”
“You know what?”Brian began,
“I’ll start with you, then get, I’ll fuck her, then kill her, before burying the both of you together, so you can go rot in hell..” he swore, raising his fist to punch Arion.
But his fist never landed on Arion, since he caught his hand just in time,
“I really hate vampires like you..”he smacked his lips,
“Step away red hair..” he whispered to the girl, who quickly stepped backwards.
“There’ll be no last words for you, since you don’t deserve that honor..” he smirked, as Brian stared at him wide eyed.
“Try me and ..” he never got to finish his statement, as Arion was already in front of him, he held Brian’s head tight, as he sank his fangs in his neck, sucking his blood till the last drop, Brian struggled all to no avail as Arion was a hundred times stronger than him.
Arion dropped his lifeless body on the floor noisily on the floor as he faced the girl, who stood wide eyed and dumbstruck.
“Where were we honey?” He questioned, licking the blood off from the corner of his lips.
