“Let go off me ” Adia snapped angrily removing her hands from Sebastian’s,
“You can say whatever you want, but I’m not stepping an inch away from here…” she added, jealousy bubbling up within her, he came to take her home, just to arrive and start offering his cheeks for women to kiss.
“Why are you acting this way?” He sucked his teeth, tired of her endless dramas,
“Are you kidding me, you expect me to be calm, after you referred to me as a problem, then you come here, only for another woman to start kissing you, ” she scoffed,
“Marina is just a friend..” he phrased out,
“So we’ve gotten to the era when we can kiss friends, I might as well start making friends so I can kiss them whenever we meet” she jeered, angry and jealous that Sebastian looked cool with having her around, he looked unaffected, but she thought he hated clingy women,
“Infact come here..” she said, drawing him close, as she placed her hands on both sides of his cheeks, cleaning the area where he was kissed.
“I’m the only one permitted to kiss you, got it, be it cheeks or lips” with that she kissed both sides of his cheeks, wanting to remove any traces of marina on him.
“You can now leave, I’m done with you..” she waved him off, sitting on a bed.
“I came to talk, let’s talk Adia, like normal people do” he drawled out,
“I don’t want to talk, look Seb, I don’t want to be a problem to you, so you can go, I’m very comfortable here, with Naomie..” she waved him off.
“I’m sorry…” Sebastian took his pride down for the first time and apologized to her, even Adia was shocked, she just had probably heard wrong.
“I went too far, I should have taken it more lenient with you, and considered your feelings ” he apologized sincerely,
“You don’t think I’m buying this, do you?” She chuckled, finding it skeptical to believe, when did Sebastian start explaining himself and accepting his faults?.
“Adia..” he began, uttering her name, as if he was saying a prayer, as he went and sat beside her, holding her hand.
“You’re not a problem to you, in fact I do enjoy your company a lot, I just lost it for a second..”
“The thing is that, you’re a normal human, everything is just a coincidence, nothing else, so don’t think too much in that, and focus more on your health, that’s my fucking problem to deal with, you must have heard that Arion went to new Orleans,” he informed as Adia’s eyes met his.
“For what?” She asked curiously,
“To find a witch” he responded,
“A witch..”
“Hmm, the truth is that it’s only a witch that can say you,” he confessed,
“How’s that going to be possible?”
“You should know by now that Ace and Arion have visions sometimes”
“That’s why I’m certain that you’re going to live only if we find a witch of course..”
“What’s the vision Sebastian? You have to tell me everything..” she requested,
“The first vision the had was a vision of you, with three witches chanting around you, trying to save your life, the only problem was their their faces was vague..” he informed, that was the first ever vision his brothers had, that’s why they were certain that Adia was going to live, only if they tried finding a witch, but then another terrifying vision came.
“But yet, they had another vision..” he said in a hoarse voice,
“They saw your tombstone..” he muttered almost in a whisper as Adia suddenly went cold,
“Wh.. at…” she stammered, her eyes flooding with tears.
“You see, that’s why I never wanted to tell you about any of this, it will only leave you worried..”
“That’s also the reason I act irrational, because seriously Adia I can’t afford to lose you…”
“I…I..” Adia’s throat suddenly went dry, if they saw her tombstone, that means she was going to die.
“But there’s a new found hope..” his voice rang in her ears as she looked up at him with enthusiasm,
“Magic was spotted in Orleans, that’s why Arion is going there, we still have hope right..” he chuckled dryly,
“I…I…” Adia could only stammer, short of words, she seriously have nothing to say,
“Oh God, Sebastian…” she whispered, placing her head on his shoulders, she seriously had nothing to say or even think, all she wanted was to be in his warmth and comfort, nothing more.
“Sebastian, I don’t want us to argue anymore..” she mumbled, feeling his warm embrace.
“I don’t want to be a burden to anyone..” she added, shutting her eyes closed, savoring the sweet moment.
“You’re not a burden to anyone..”
“And I’m sorry for bringing you here, I guess it must have been hard for you to come here..” she said, lifting her head from his shoulder.
“Why do you say so?” His brows furrowed curiously.
“Well your first love used to live here, it must have brought back some memories..” she muttered feeling somewhat bad for him, she wondered how he must have felt when he came in here.
“I came here for you Adia..” he voiced out, as Adia blushed hard,
“Come on..” he gestured, helping her stand up.
“We’re leaving now, I want to show you something..” he informed Adia, whose face wore a curious look as she wondered where he must be taking her to.
“But first we have to visit Logan..” she requested,
