Adia’s eyes fluttered open, as she took a good look at her surroundings, she has been so tired when they arrive and the only thing on her mind was rest, getting up from the bed, she realized that her and Sebastian would be sharing a room together as a married couple, she blushed at the idea, speaking of Sebastian she hasn’t seen him at all, maybe he had to run off somewhere, she thought loudly.
She looked around the room which only reeked of one thing ‘ Sebastian ‘, it was a very big bedroom, with designs that suit a royalty, but most of the colors in here were gray and black, colors that describe Sebastian’s personality.
Just as she was thinking about him, the door sprang open, as Sebastian walked in.
“You’re awake…” he remarked, stopping a few meters away from her, the news he just heard a moment ago, Is one of the best so far, that they have a chance at saving Adia, there’s a thin line of hope for them now.
“Hmm, hmm..” she yawned, standing up straight.
” Go freshen up, I’ll tell the maids to bring your breakfast here..” he informed sitting on the bed as Adia nodded slowly.
Then living in the same room felt so awkward, yees they’ve shared a bed before, but this was different, how’s she going to cope, when she bathes, dresses up and stuff, Sebastian will be everywhere around her, which is making her so nervous.
“My bags?” She questioned in a croaked voice, the only plan she has now is to bathe and dress up in the bathroom, so she has to take her clothes with her to the bathroom.
“Your clothes have been arranged in the closet, you’ll find a towel in the bathroom..” he replied,
“Ok.* Adia mumbled dashing to the closet, it was already late in the evening, so she picked up her pajamas, before going into the bathroom.

“Oh Jesus!!” Adia exclaimed, her eyes wide as saucers, the moment she walked out of the bathroom, the sight before her was…. it’s not as if she has not seen him half naked Sebastian before, but this time, she felt strangely different, and highly nervous.
“What is it?” Sebastian’s lips curved up, turning to face Adia who looked shocked, she was already dressed in her pajamas, and the only evidence that she just finished bathing was the water dripping from her hair.
“Oh nothing..” Adia chuckled sheepishly, trying to regain her composure.
“Calm down Adia, you’ve seen this before, there’s nothing new here..” she mumbled, taking in deep breaths, he just looked more handsome and hot now in her eyes, how can a man be so sexy and God like, she thought hard biting her lips.
“Come here..” he beckoned towards her .
“Come where?” Adia muttered,
“Here..” he pointed at where he was standing as Adia’s eyes grew wide, not wanting to waste any time with her, he walked up to where he held her hands.

Sebastian reached for a drawer, as he brought out a hair dryer from there, which he used in drying Adia’s hair. As she sat quietly, he did it so skillfully, as if he was an expert in that aspect.
“Have you been doing this before?” Adia couldn’t help but voiced out her curiosity.
“No” came his honest reply,
“Why do you ask?” He asked her this time.
“Because you’re so good at it, why else? You’re doing this as if it’s your job, which made me wonder how many women’s hair you must have dried..” she replied, as Sebastian’s lips pulled up into a thin line.
“Just so you know I’m good at many things, and you’re the first woman, whose hair I’ve dried,” he stated,
“I’m your wife, I’m exceptional from other women” she shrugged her shoulders, he’s actually obliged to be drying her hair everyday.
“Make sure you always keep yourself warm..” he advised,
“Britaris is a very cold place, and might not be suitable for a human like you, not to talk of the vulnerable state you are in…” he told her,
“I’ve already ordered the maids to always keep the house warm, just make sure you’re protected when leaving the four corners of this place..” he added, vampires are cold blooded, so it’s natural for the place they reside to be very cold.
“Ok,” Adia nodded, thankfully she packed a lot of sweaters.
“Why about Logan?” She asked about the main reason they came here I’m the first place.
“What about him?” Sebastian’s brows furrowed, how come she’s asking after another man in the middle of their conversation?, The jealous spirit in him pondered,
“I’m just asking how he’s faring and if you’ve made any positive moves to help him..”
“He has been locked up by the elders, I tried all I could to get him released, but it seems the elders are firm in their decisions, the only next option was to ask Celeste for help” he uttered as if that was a very hard thing for him to do, it was totally against his wish to ask his mother for help, seeing she could be of help as an elder also, but he had to do that because of Adia, she’ll just keep on pestering him.
“She has managed to stall his execution..” he announced,
“How did she manage to do that?” She asked,
“I gave her some proof against Kate, like when she tried to kill you and abort the pregnancy” he replied,
“So Kate is also a villain here, and all Logan did was protect a life, they’re going to investigate more on that and hopefully Logan will be safe…”
“How long is he going to be kept there?” Adia asked worriedly.
“Thirty days..” came his curt reply,
“Oh poor Logan, I wondered how he’s faring being locked up in there..” she whimpered sadly,
“Stop worrying about him, darn it” Sebastian smacked his lips distastefully dropping the hair dryer on the table.
“I don’t just want anyone to die because of me..” she uttered,
“No one’s dying, trust me on this” he said to her assuringly patting her shoulders.
“Give me a shoulder massage..” Adia requested playfully as she chuckled.
“Alright..” Sebastian accepted without hesitating, as he placed his other hand on her shoulders, Adia cared less about what he must have swallowed here, but was okay as long as he was sweet to her.
