Monica walked into Adia’s room carrying a cup of water placed on a tray, as she made way for Adia’s bed.
Thankfully Logan successfully brought the antidote for her, and it was administered to her successfully. She’s been asleep since the previous day, Monica was more than grateful for Logan’s help, thankfully Adia will be free from pain.
“Adia” she called happily, removing the shutters, allowing light into the room
“Adia” she called again, placing the tray carefully at the bedside.
“Hmm” Adia scrambled on the bed, using her hand to block the light that was entering her eyes as she yawned loudly.
That’s when she realized something, she was not feeling pain anymore, she quickly placed her hands on her tummy, and felt relieved that her baby bump was still intact, her unborn babies are safe, now she can finally smile.
She sat up from the bed, as she swept her gaze to Monica, who stood by the bedside, her face beaming with smiles.
“Good morning Adia..” Monica greeted her smile not falling from her face.
“What are you doing here?” Adia asked sharply, she still has not forgotten what these people did to her.
“I brought you water, you must be thirsty right?” Monica questioned, picking the cup up from the tray as she handed it over to Adia, who collected the cup from her.
Monica thought Adia was going to have a sip, but was shocked beyond measure, when Adia suddenly threw the cup on the floor, the cup shattering to pieces.
“Adia.. what are you ..” she stammered speechlessly.
“Get out..” Adia yelled angrily, not wanting to see any of them, she can’t believe Monica or her people like her, even Cora.
“But…”
“I said out!!!” Adia screamed at the top of her voice,
“And I never want to see you anywhere around me, just get out..” she added, as Monica wondered what was going on with Adia, she had never acted this harsh to her before.
“And also..” Adia began as Monica paused,
“Do pass a message to Cora that I want to see her” she said, getting back under the duvet as Monica walked out of the room confused.

Sebastian sat leisurely on the sofa, as Adia requested every one gathered for a very important meeting. He doesn’t know what she was thinking about, but he already has an idea that it must be whatever Kate told her.
Monica stood at a corner, while Cora sat nervously beside Evans, Ace and Arion settled at the staircase terrace waiting as well, Arion never wanted to be here, but Sebastian had insisted he came.
While Logan just stood at a quiet corner, Adia insisted she came too.
After a few minutes of waiting for the spotlight, Adia, she finally came down. She has not stepped out of her room since she recovered, now she is gathering them for God knows what speech she’s gonna give.
“Adia,” Cora called as she ran to embrace her friend,
“Don’t touch me..” Adia snapped, stepping backwards from Cora who stared at her confused.
“Don’t even think of it…” she added, her eyes blazing with anger.
“Adia what’s this.. is anything the problem..” Cora asked, confused as hell.
“Adia this, Adia that.. It’s always Adia, I thought you were my friend Cora..” Adia stated softly, her voice breaking.
“What do you mean, Adia, why are you acting…”
“Of course I’m acting mad, yes I’m mad” Adia chimed in sarcastically, as everyone just watched the two friends quietly.
“I think Kate’s poison affected her brain” Arion muttered to his brother’s ear, nodding meaningfully as Ace glared at him.
“Shut up, I think Adia knows something..” Ace whispered to him,
“Like..”
“I don’t know, I guess it’s about her dying soon”
“Did you think you guys can keep it away from her, think again, I’ll just as the drama unfolds ” Arion scoffed.
BACK TO ADIA AND CORA…
“I’m mad Cora, like how could you, I thought you were my friend..” Adia scoffed,
“Of course I’m your friend Adia,” Cory uttered softly,
“No you’re not ” Adia snapped,
“And Don’t ever call me your from ever again, you were just using me, like how could you Cora, I thought you loved me like a sister, I least expected this from you, and you Monica..” she pointed accusingly at Monica.
“You two are so, arrh..” she screamed frustratingly.
“Adia, what are you talking about?” Cora asked not knowing what to say, why is Adia behaving this strange.

“They are lots of things to talk about here, lot of things, like how you’re a vampire, and we’ve been friends for years now, but you hide that from me, even when I came to find out about vampires, you still hid that from me, how could you, did you ever regard me as a friend Cora…” Adia asked, she has come to love and care for these people, but what did she get in return, nothing but lies, deceit, even from her best friend.
“Adia I can explain…” Cora began, having an idea of why Adia was acting this way.
“There’s nothing to explain Cora, I’m disappointed in you, very disappointed, infact I’m disappointed at all of you, you all knew, you all kept a very big secret from me, taking me as a fool, oh yeah, you felt like I was just some piece of trash that you can toss away whenever you like, I’m just a vessel carrying an almighty hybrid baby for the Moreau’s, I was just an object to you all, to all of you, how could you guys do that to me, if you really respected me, you guys would have at least let me know about it, why…” Adia felt like erupting, the anger she was feeling now was immeasurable.
“Hide what from you Adia?” Cora asked still confused,
“Are you serious?” Adia scoffed loudly in sarcasm,
“I see you’re still pretend as if you know nothing, you haven’t even admitted to being a vampire yet, how will you be admit to your other lies..” Adia stated, tears threatening to fall from her cheeks, but she’s going to fight that today, She’ll not shed tears, nor will she smile at anyone, the goal is to remain cold.
“I know I lied to you. I’m sorry, but what other thing am I hiding?”
“You’re so impossible Cora, so you’re gonna act as if you have no idea that I have just less than three months to live!!!” Adia exclaimed, as everyone in the room froze, though not everyone, some others, had already seen this coming.
