” If she really loved Moreau here, she could have done the spell herself and saved us the stress of traveling one thousand miles away, she’s being all goody, because she feels entitled to the council..” Elias spat angrily, the council governed all the affairs of the villagers, Moreau just came to find out about a very big secret. The existence of witches, another mind blowing secret, was that all the council members were all witches, including Estelle La Fey herself, and they never give them the humans chance to speak for themselves or anything.

” Correction please, Estelle didn’t tell me about her secret, I managed to find out about, I found out that she’s been lying to me all this while, so I had to track another witch who’s against the council members, that’s how I met Serefina, and she gave me this stupid mission, to find a stupid diamond, the Wartz diamond took me six months to find and none of you fucking embarked on the journey with me, except from Regis Callahan, a friend who I met during my mission..” Moreau explained, his demeanor turning very serious.

They all have to imagine what he went through to get the diamond for the witch, who was supposed to perform a ritual for them to make them invisible just like the witches.

“I only chose you all to come with me, so that we’ll all have equal powers, strong enough to take down the witches, and each of you were required to take a female with you so you can reproduce, Emile I promise you, you will never ruin this for me..” Moreau promised, releasing his grip from Emile, as Emile wiped the blood stains from the corner of his lips.

“Estelle La Fey is the only woman in your life..” Elias reminded Moreau, they all know how much he loves the woman, who turned out to be a witch.

” I’ll take Celeste with me”

“Her maid!!” Elias exclaimed as he began laughing.

“She volunteered herself and she’s Human, she also helped me find Serefina”

” How do you know Serefina is gonna perform the spell, what if she refuses after you give her the diamond?” Hugo questioned, he doesn’t even know who Serefina is, or where she belonged, or if she could even be trusted.

” We swore an oath, to keep our end of the deal, witches don’t go back on their words” Moreau informed, he had all this carefully laid out, and is never gonna mess it up, all he hungered for is true power, nothing else.

He loves Estelle La Fey, no doubt, but that’s not going to stop him from getting whatever he wants.

“What exactly are we seeking, all you say is power, power, what kind of power do we seek?” Elias asked, his British accent overpowering the room as he spoke, no doubt he’s the talkative of them all.

” Immortality, strength, immense strength, we will be impenetrable, we will be the superiors of this world and will finally have a say in the council, not those dimwits” Moreau cursed at the witches, he was nothing but a clerk at the council’s office, a man with no name, but wants to make a name for himself, most of the men here, were nothing but mere villagers, the only notable person there was, Elias Montenero, Eugene Yannick and Emile Gaston the weakling.

The remaining four of them, Hunter Moreau, Elliot Gerald, Regis Callahan and Hugo Alexandre were just villagers, Regis didn’t even have a home for himself, he was nothing less than a pauper.

“Gather all the women, we’ll be leaving by midnight” Moreau announced as they all started packing, he was the leader of the group and they all respected that fact.

“Delphine this is Celeste,” Hugo introduced as both Delphine and Celeste shook hands.

“She’ll help you with anything you need, I hope you both get along, I’ll join the other..” Hugo said leaving the scene.

“The journey’s gonna be a long one, hope you came prepared?” Celeste asked, making sure her horse was in check.

“Not that I know nothing about all this..” Delphine chuckled sheepishly as Celeste nodded meaningfully.

“I see the lord hasn’t told you about this yet..” she stated,

“I guess..”

“Well our journey will be very rough and tiring,” Celeste informed, staring at Moreau who climbed onto his horse as she admired him.

“Do you love him?” Delphine asked, seeing Celeste’s eyes were fixed on Moreau.

“Who wouldn’t, I just wished he felt the same way, but sadly his heart belongs to another woman” Celeste signed sadly.

” Then why are you here?”

” Because I’m a survivor, and I want to be here, I’m fighting for what I want” Celeste replied, climbing her horse.

” You ride a horse!!!” Delphine exclaimed in delight.

” Like I said, I’m a survivor” Celeste repeated helping Delphine climb the horse.

” I think I like you, we’ll definitely make good friends..” Delphine expressed as Celeste saddled the horse forward.

” Eiee yahh!!” She screamed as the horse ran as they met up with the other.

” Put on your coat, the night will be very cold..” she advised.
