Pleasuring the Maid

Chapter 36

Chapter 36

***Ray***

Ava...I uuuh...' Bryson stuttered, his face mirroring extreme shock that threatened to bring him down to

his knees.

He regretted those words the moment he spotted Ava.

'Your mother did what she did for you. My father, Mathew Moretti threatened to kill you and Ray if your

mother didn't break up with your father. ' Ava began, completely ignoring Bry.

Reynard wanted nothing to do with the organisation. His father, my grandfather Alpha Moretti, let him

go on with his life. Only if he oversaw the businesses surrounding the Mafia.

Even so, my father thought that your father would one day turn against him and take over the whole

organisation.

So he came up with a plan to make sure Reynard never did that. He threatened to kill Renata and the

both of you. He however gave your parents a choice.' Ava paused, blinking away the moisture in her

eyes.

'Your father was forced to choose over your mother or your lives. A life would have been lost either way

and so the solution was to plan for the disappearance of your mother.' She paused again, giving us

time for the info to sink.

'So that is what Reynard did. He still had connections and that's how he was able to attain such a high

quality hyperrealistic face mask. Plus making sure your mother disappeared without a trace. '

Bryson cast his gaze down to the floor, shame coating his features as he followed through Ava's story.

'My father at that time had attempted to kill my 'mum' Eve. He knew Reynard would choose you over

your mother. Knowing that my mum and yours were best friends, he knew that if one remained alive,

then the other would take care of the kids.

So he sought to kill them both out of spite and leave Reynard blaming himself for the death of Renata.

So the three of them, Renata, Reynard and my mum agreed for mum to disappear overseas and for

Renata to mother me. That way she would be still close to you boys without drawing attention from my Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

deranged father. '

'So your mum returned when the threat was finally wiped away. That is when your father got killed? ' I

asked Ava.

'Yes. ' Dad answered.

'And Bryson, thank you for letting me know how useless of a fuck I was to you. ' She faced him, her

voice slowly getting colder.

'You deserve better than a stupid maid. Fortunately nothing can faze me at the moment. Even your

endless insults won't stop me from loving the both of you. ' She stopped for a while, lifting his chin.

'I love you, even with your vile mouth. I will always love you no matter what. '

She walked towards me, smiling at me in the process.

'And I love you too Ray, with your good heart and all. I will always love you. '

Those words ignited a giddy feeling from the bottom of my heart. A warmth spread allover my body,

making it's way towards my mouth just as my lips etched into a happy smile.

Judging from Bryson's reaction, he felt the same. He surely didn't see any of that coming. He knew the

moment Ava stepped in, she wouldn't forgive him again. But just like me, he was wrong because our

girl once again proved to be loving and understanding as always.

'Bryson.' Ava turned to Bryson again.

'You know what you said about your mother was wrong. She needs an apology from you, here and

now. ' She addressed him.

'But Ava..' He spoke.

'May I remind you that I heard every single thing you said to her and my mum? ' Ava questioned.

'I'm sorry Ava. '

'No Bry, it's your mum and mine you should be saying sorry to. ' She corrected.

'Mum, Eve. ' Bryson started.

I couldn't help but smile at his discomfort.

'I told you you'd regret your words. ' I mocked him.

'I'm really sorry, and not because Ava asked me to say so but because I truly am.

I let myself get carried away by my emotions. I didn't stop for a second to think about how I was making

you feel. I just thought that my insults would push you to finally shed some light on your story.

I knew that it wasn't the right way to go by it and yet I didn't stop even when you people begged me to

stop.

I'm awfully ashamed of my actions and I truly ask you for your forgiveness mum. Now I know that you

gave up your freedom just for us to live. I truly I'm sorry you had to do that but also grateful that you

chose us over your happiness with dad.

Eve, I'm sorry about blaming everything on you and Ava. I knew it was Ava's dad to blame for all the

problems and yet I refused to acknowledge that like a mature person. I'm sorry once more. '

'Of course I forgive you Bryson. ' Mum hugged him, patting his back lovingly.

'I totally understand your frustrations son. Plus you've always been the vocal one between you and

Ray. ' She chuckled slightly.

'I don't need your apology Bryson, you were hurting. I understand the pain of being separated to the

one you cherish. It's all in the past. ' Eve smiled at him.

'I have been very quiet through all these.' Dad finally spoke.

'I wanted to barge in here and whip you to a pulp Bryson, you have Ava to thank for that. '

'I swear Bry, he would have beaten you had it not for me begging him not to. ' Ava added.

'You seriously stood by the door while I shouted my frustrations away? ' Bryson asked dad and Ava. '

'Isn't that what we just said? ' Dad mocked.

'Anyway, we talked about so much with Ava. Well, I did the talking. I told her everything she wanted to

know about my brother and how I ended up offering her a job.

Do you want to know what else we talked about boy? He questioned the both of us.

'Yes. ' We answered at the same time.

'We talked about how I am going to enjoy handing you your asses. '

'But why? ' I asked.

'Because I expect you to have asked Ava to become your girlfriend before you could even think about

bedding her in the hotel room. '

We didn't dare meet his eyes.
