ENZO'S POV

“I’m jealous! I love you! I love you! Not as my best friend! I love you! Can it be me…

Please love me…”

Her voice keeps on repeating in my head. I don’t know whether or not I should be happy. I hurt her. I

broke my promise and I hate myself for that. She did not give me any chance to explain myself nor

what I am feeling. She just left! Three years have past but the pain remains. Damn it!

I asked her mom after a month of no communication. I'm really sorry for her. I miss her.

“Did she not tell you?” she seriously said. My forehead creased, and I suddenly became

nervous…”She left. She went to the U.S. with her dad to continue her studies there…”

My whole world crumbled because of what I heard. I was so broken and devastated at that time.

"Tricia understands and supports all of your bullshit! she always smile even you've done nothing for

her! It's obvious that she's a keeper but It's also obvious that you don't deserve her." Zion angrily said.

"I know I'm asshole! I took her for granted.. But I didn’t mean to! She is so important to me!"

He laughed sarcastically.

"I love her Enzo! I will take her away from you! You know how I feel for her but I disregarded it because

I know that she loves you!”

I just punched him. He did not fight back, but I can see anger in his eyes.

"You don't know what you've got till it's gone.."

That’s my last talk with Zion. I’m so mad at him. I’m mad because he loves Tricia. But I am more angry

at myself because I took her for granted....

"Im sorry Enzo!I heard what happened." sabi ni Monica.

I really was with Monica during her birthday. But there’s no “us”. She has a boyfriend and she got

pregnant. Nonetheless, we’re friends. She had a miscarriage during that time. She called me because

her boyfriend didn’t know that she was pregnant back then nor did her parents. I had no choice. I

wanted to help Monica, but I lost Tricia in return.

"I know you love her and she loves you." Monica said.

I didn’t answer her. I just listen to her I was broken and devastated that time.

"You both are so numb! I'm sorry if I was the reason she left, Enzo"

"Don't blame yourself. It was me. I love her, but I did not accept that love. I love her but I did not

express it because I didn’t want her hurting.."

I want to cry that time.

They were having fun that time. I did not know how to feel. I’m so angry at myself because I can see

her happy even without me.

Nagkakatuwaan sila that time.Hindi ko alam ang mararamdaman ko..Sobrang galet ako sa sarili ko

masakit para sakin na tumatawa siya pero hindi ako ang kasama niya.

I woke up from reality when my phone rang.

"Hello.."

"Oh my god Enzo! What took you so long?" Good thing she’s Tricia’s best friend so I did not hang up

on her.

"What? I have a lot to do in the office"

"You’re so grumpy! The shop is almost done!"

Yes! I did everything I can just so their shop would be located in our mall. This bakeshop has been

Sunny and Tricia’s dream ever since. I’m so proud of her. She named it Chocolate & Berries..

I just hope she's still my Pat.. I just hope that she still loves me. If not, I’ll do everything for her to love

me back. I’ll ask her to 'Please Love me' again tirelessly.
