One Night Stand

Chapter 45

Chapter 45

Javier’s POV

I stepped outside to take a big breath. I poured myself a glass of vodka and stepped out onto the

balcony to take in the fresh air. I remind myself of why I bore a weight for so long. I burst out laughing. I

felt the same way about not saying anything to the person I wanted to protect and not harm. He had

been avoiding me all this time because he didn’t want to harm me. To be honest, I expected my friend Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

to turn on me one of these days. But, after all these years, he proved me incorrect. He was still my

friend, but because of Sandra, I never told him anything about my personal life. As I heard footsteps

coming, I turned. It was Ethan. He was also clutching a tumbler of vodka. He sighed as he stood close

to me, inhaling in the same air as me.

“Are you upset with me?” he inquired.

“Are you upset with me?” I inquired about him. He hugged me after looking at me. I returned his

embrace.

“I’m sorry, man. I was a moron.” I interrupted him.

“Are you a moron? I should apologize, not you, but you should have told me from the beginning that

you knew her. You should’ve informed me she was the Sandra you used to mention, the girl you loved.”

“ Yes, it was my error. I didn’t know either, but it was too late for me to realize, and she continued to

play with us. I loved her, but it fed me up with her. I was sick of playing her games. I also stopped

speaking to her. She only came to me after you rejected her, as I observed. And when I discovered

how she received her roles, I had no choice but to end all connections with her."

“It’s all right, brother. I never expected a woman to play you and me. It’s our fault; we said nothing to

each other out of fear of hurting one other. And I’ll be damned if I lose you because of a sloppy woman.

Let’s go to my house so you may meet my obstinate fiancée.

Back at the Williams Residence

Mrs. Williams pulled her daughter back to the Williams residence. And dumped her in front of the villa’s

entrance. She couldn’t imagine she’d ever be embarrassed by her daughter. Sandra was mocked for

her demeanor. She had many questions for herself, and everything made sense after today. She

couldn’t understand why a guy would be so frigid to a woman, but now she realizes her daughter was

garbage. Her mind wandered back to when she asked Sandra if there was anything she had done to

Javier. He was wrong to treat her in that manner. Sandra was continuously accusing Javier of infidelity.

She was appalled by her daughter’s behavior and wondered where she had gotten it from. She inhaled

deeply.

“You couldn’t even hide your tracks by sleeping with friends, as heinous as you are. Did you think they

couldn't figure it out? You squandered your opportunities with Javier. You should keep an eye on the

news. He was spotted buying a ring, a costly band, and he had previously proposed to a lady who had

a kid for him. You couldn’t even become pregnant all these years. You are 35 years old. Sandra, do you

believe that playing games are a necessary element of life? You’d be wise to avoid Javier and his

family. I don’t want to hear any more of your heinous deeds. Allow Javier and his family to be alone.

You don’t deserve anything. You made me seem like an idiot. I was prepared to go to war for you. You

are, in fact, a snake. You even deceive your mum.” She walked inside the villa, leaving Sandra alone

outside.

Sandra’s POV

I don’t care what other people think of me. Should I go to the press and announce that Javier and I are

expecting? I’m not going to lose him to whomever. Wait, whomever. I’m not sure who Xander’s mother

is. She took out her phone and dialed Ethan’s number, but the call was never returned. Is he also

abandoning me? Who cares, if the guy has no money? Then she had the most repulsive notion ever.

She cracked a grin. She pulled out her phone and dialed her uncle’s number.

“Hello uncle Robert, I have a job for you.”

She handed her uncle the license plate number of the Karlman King.

“Keep an eye on that vehicle and report back to me every day. I’m curious about her everyday

activities.” She hung up.

I will not let her have Javier. I heard Javier was bringing his employees out to celebrate their a. This

Saturday, so that’s a nice start for me. Despite the fact that I will not be invited, I will go there and

congratulate him.

I’ll sleep with Javier this Saturday while my uncle follows the vehicle. She said with a grin.
