What the hell I thought? As Jason was ripped from me and thrown against the wall. Sasha was going nuts in my head screaming at me for kissing him and that our mate was there. I looked up and almost screamed as Dane was standing right in front of me breathing hard. No. No. No. This can't be happening. Alex was by Dane's side trying to calm him. Dan and Jenny had gotten up. Dan was standing between Dane and me and Jenny was checking on Jason. Who was unconscious on the floor.

Harold burst in from the side door with a rifle. "Alright, party over. Dan take Jenny, Vanessa and your friend home. I will handle this."

"You will take care of nothing, old man. This disgusting girl belongs to me." Roared Dane. Alex was still holding him back without using his alpha command. Dan scurried everyone out and ran upstairs. To get Vanessa. I only prayed he would take Katie with him. Once gone, Harold motioned for them to sit and Alex commanded Dane to sit in a chair across from mine.

"I see we have a problem. But I guess you are the Alpha and Beta from Dark Moon pack and you, my dear girl, were a member." I shook my head yes.

Sasha was still running through my head like a puppy. "Mate. Dane is our Mate. All will be OK now we can return." I was not as happy as she was.

Harold continued. "This establishment is under the protection of the Violet Moon pack, as such, so is Carmella." I jerked my head at him. Why didn't he tell me this before? No wonder Eric had sent me here. Were they keeping an eye on me? One thing at a time, Fillian focus.

"Who is Eric?" Dane roared, getting up and overturning his chair.

"Eric is the Gamma of the Violet Moon pack who sent Fillian here." Harold said. "He wanted to make sure you were OK. You didn't seem like you wanted us to know, so I went along with it. I have been keeping them updated of your situation." My mouth dropped open.

"Enough of this. Fillian, where is Katie?" Alex asked.

"She is safe, but that is none of your business," I replied.

"IT is my business. She is a member of my pack." He said.

"WAS I responded." This earned me a backhand from Dane. Harold pulled the rifle back up and pointed it at him. I moved between. No. He was my mate after all. Harold looked at me.

"He is my mate," I said with a frown. Harold and Alex exchanged looks and looked at Dane with shock.

Harold was the first to break the silence with "Eric will be disappointed. He thought maybe when you were ready you would come to Violet moon."

Dane growled once more. Alex softly asked, "How long have you known." He asked in his Alpha tone so Dane could not lie.

"Since before she left. I will not be mated to a low traitorous Omega." He spat out. "I am a Beta and she is wolf less filth."

Sasha whimpered inside my head. "I am sorry Sasha. I knew I wasn't good enough for you." I started to cry.

"Fillian, you aren't wolf less anymore, are you?" Alex asked. I shook my head. "I can sense a powerful wolf here, but if you Harold, are not a wolf, it must be you."

I just stared at him. Not sure how to respond. Luckily, I didn't have to. "Alex come on, she cannot be powerful look at her. She is so small, I bet her wolf is also small and weak. Why her wolf didn't show in the first place."

After many years at least, I have learned now to keep my mouth shut. Sasha spoke with a growl "How could he say these things knowing he is our mate? If you choose to Filli you may reject him. We will be fine."

I kept this in the back of my head, not knowing what to do yet. I didn't want Dane as a mate but maybe it would be OK once I showed him our wolf. "I'm not sure, Filli he seems to hate us."

"I know." I replied.

Harold tapped me on the shoulder. I was talking with Sasha. I had missed the question from Alex.

"I'm sorry what?"

"I said I think you have some explaining to do. Have you shifted?" Alex restated.

"Yes"

"Interesting. I would like to see you," Alex said.

"No."

"The b***h is lying." Dane said.

"I think you should take this outside. No one is around tonight." Harold said. "I don't want my place trashed."

We moved outside, just the three of us. Harold remained inside and I hoped he locked the doors. Please let Katie stay asleep or let Dan have taken her with him. They cannot find her.

Once outside, Dane landed a swift kick to my stomach. Luckily, with my wolf it hurt less than last time.

"Dane." Alex roared. "As your mate you will be required to care for her."

"Care for her. I don't want this weak b***h. Even worse, she was whoring around with some human when we got here. You saw her."

"THAT IS IT." I roared. Radiating power from magic or Sasha I'm not sure. Both looked at me. "I am not weak or a w***e. I kissed Jason for the first time tonight. You don't want me... That is funny. Why would I want you? You beat me every day and threatened Katie if I didn't comply." This got a look from Alex, but I wasn't done. "You know I'm not weak Dane. The day we left I showed you. Did you tell your Alpha everything or just what you wanted? Did you tell him you were going to r**e me in front of Katie."

Alex just looked at Dane, shocked. I continued. "Katie belongs with me." I cried. "No one cared for her after her parents' died, just me. Here she has been my daughter and no one has questioned it."

"Fillian." Alex said trying to calm me. "We would like you both back in the pack. I cannot lose pack members my first week. It makes me look weak. I will protect you this time and Dane he is your mate. He can learn."

"No." Dane said "We will take Katie back, but not you. I Dane Arrendo Beta of the Dark Moon pack, reject you Fillian Carmella Carnell as my mate." When he said this I dropped to a knee my chest hurt. A tear ran down my eye.

I stood and responded. "I Fillian Carmella Carnell accept your rejection." Dane fell to the ground unable to get up.

"You can't do this to me, Fillian." Alex said. "I need you both to come back or just give me Katie."

"No." I heard Katie cry. She must have creeped out.

"Katie no." I said as Alex shifted to attack me. I had no other choice but to shift in front of him.

He could feel the power, I knew, but something had him coming for me. I swiped at him with my paw. I ran to Katie and motioned for her to climb on. Which she did. Once she was on, I ran. I knew I was larger and faster than Alex. All my training in the forest had provided me with some idea of where I would stand.

I continued to run and could hear they were following me. I heard howls for the second time in two years. One from Dane and one from Alex. This time I wasn't scared of them. This time I feared what our future held as I ran into Violet Moon pack territory.
