Olympiad is Falling, The Rise of Artemis

Chapter 40- Artemis

Daylen opened a portal when we came out of it we were at a place with pink and orange skies. I marveled at the beauty of the area. The air smelled like perfume. The grass was short and purple. Was this a dream? Had Daylen accidentally killed us both. When I turned to ask him where were he’d taken off his hoodie. Revealing a set of soft abs.

I blushed and brushed a strand of hair out of my face. He reached for his belt buckled and undid his pants my eyes went wide. First I looked around to make sure no one was watching. The area looked pretty much deserted.

“What are you doing! Why are you getting naked?”

He nodded at the medium pool of bubbling silver water.

“You want to take a bath now?”

In response he pulled down his pants… with his boxers too. Oh my gosh. I looked at his face or else I would be glued to his package that was already standing.

“Uh… what?”

“Want to come in with me?”

He stepped out of his jeans and walked to the edge of the pool. Did I want to? This was so sudden. It was as if we hadn’t just left his mother in prison and my brother blowing up Paradis. I met him at the edge of the pool. My pulled my own hoodie over my head with my shirt tucked inside. I let my hair fall over my nipples. I’d never been naked in front of a man before.

I swallowed. I pulled my pants down including my underwear. Didn’t need to get those wet.

“Are we the only ones here?” I asked.

“Yeah, it’s a private place.”

He stepped in first and held his hand out for me. I wrapped my arms around my breasts. I was self- conscious and Daylen saw it.

“Don’t be shy, you’re gorgeous. I can’t believe I ended up with a goddess.”

I blushed and took his hand, allowing him a glimpse of my nipples. The water was warm. Daylen wrapped his arms around my waist and pinned me to his chest. He kissed my forehead.

“You’re so beautiful Artemis.” He whispered then brushed his lips against mine.

I draped my arms around his neck and deepened our kiss. It felt like lifting a weight off my shoulders just to kiss him without the noise of a dysfunctional world.

“Do you trust me?” he asked.

“Of course I do.”

He took my thighs and enfolded them round his waist. I could feel his cock against my stomach. I had a feeling it wouldn’t be there much longer. I was scared, my heart was pounding and I thought I was hyperventilating, In my heart I knew there wasn’t a man in the worlds I would rather do this with that Daylen. So when the tip of his cock touched my entrance my eyes went wide with fear.

“It’s going to be okay.” He whispered as he kissed my shoulders.

He penetrated slowly and I gasped. Slowly he filled my falls and stretched me like elastic. I dug my nails into his back as he started rocking against me. My body was on fire for him. The pain that existed when he fully penetrated was gone and replaced by pleasure I had never experienced before.

I opened my eyes from my pleasure filled haze and realized the sun had come out of the pinkish clouds and shined right on us like a spotlight. Daylen and I sunk into each other as we breathed heavily. We remained in the water for a little while enjoying the sun shine on us.

“That was beautiful.” I said.

A blanket wrapped around my shoulders at the same time Daylen slipped behind me. He cradled me into his arms. He chuckled, “It was.”

“What was that sunlight? It felt weird.”

“It was sort of like a blessing.”

“Blessing?”

“Yeah… of our union.”All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“Union?” I sat up and he looked like a caught bandit. “You mean we got married?!”

“Yeah… we did.”

“How? Is this how you do weddings in your world?”

“No, we have the whole white gown, but this is a more ancient way.”

“Daylen…” I sighed.

He pressed his lips against my forehead. “I love you, you know that?”

“You’re going to drive me insane.” I laughed.

“I have a feeling it’s done something too.”

“What?”

I hadn’t noticed grey clouds roll around. They replaced the beautiful pink sky with dark thunder clouds. Daylen urged me up and we got dressed as fast as we could. A bolt of lightning came down and struck the earth at the same time a white cloud zipped down from the sky and landed on the ground.

“What’s happening?”

“Um, the aftermath of our union.”

A black line formed in the atmosphere which opened like a zipper and stepped out Alpheus. I swallowed. How did he find us? Out of the cloud came Solaris and two people appeared where the lightning struck.

“This should be interesting.” Daylen whispered.

“What’s going on?” I asked.

“Artemis,” the woman that came from the bolt of lightning ran towards me.

She wrapped me in her arms and squeezed at the same time an orb of light materialized behind her and formed a man. Apollo.

“Mother.” He said.

“Apollo,” she released me to touch his cheek.

I backed up and stood next to Daylen. This was my mother. She looked just like me aside from our skin tones.

“Mom?”

She placed her hand on her chest and a tear spilled down her cheek.

“Yes.”

The large man with dark skin marched toward us, his gaze fixed on me. His wife stood side.

“Zeus.” She warned.

He held his hand up. Daylen stepped aside, but I wanted him to stay.

He stared down at me. He had to be a seven foot giant. The mighty Zeus I thought would strike me down. Though he hesitantly reached for me and pulled me to his chest.

“My love… we searched the worlds for you.”

I held him back and let the tears fall. “I didn’t know.”

“Now we get to take you home.” My mother said.

“Impossible. Artemis is the queen of the dark world.” Alpheus strolled forward and snatched me out of my father’s hold.

Zeus’s eyes light up with silver lighting.

“Save your thunder Zeus. I made a blood deal with her. She belongs to me. Your little trick didn’t work.”

“No.” I hammered my fist against his chest, hoping a bow would come out of it and kill him. Nothing happened though.

“I didn’t make the blood promise I swear.” I cried.

“What do you want?” Zeus asked, the fire in his eyes gone replaced my compassion.

“Make me a god! The only way you’ll have your daughter back is if you make a god and we both return to Olympiad. Or else I’ll drag her back to the dark world and you’ll never see her again.”

“You can’t do that she’s my wife! She’s bound by pure blood to me.” Daylen blasted.

“You clearly don’t understand the rules of a blood bond.”

“If you do this Zeus you’ll be dooming us all!” Solaris spoke for the first time.

My dad looked away, “I can’t let him take my daughter Solaris.”

It looked like my dad was going to make a decision that was until the ground shook and two portals opened. Hera walked out of one of them. Damn it did everyone know where we were? A woman with hair like a river stepped out of the other one. She had brown hair and beautiful green eyes.

“You clearly don’t understand the rules of love Alpheus.” She walked up to him with the fabric of her dress in her hand.

She stopped in front of him and shoved him back. Alpheus gasped even though she barely made him stumble. She took my hand and walked me away from him.

“I’m sure this isn’t how you wanted to spend your first time.” She whispered.

“Not at all. Especially not with my parents.”

She snickered. She left me with Daylen. She winked at him and he smiled before planting a kiss on my forehead.

“You knew I would show up, didn’t you?” She said.

He shrugged, “It is your duty.”

“I don’t get it who is she?”

Daylen smiled, “Your sister. Aphrodite.”

“Dad, let me handle this.” She said. “Alpheus, your blood bond was impure. You cannot force someone else to love you.”

“I don’t want love!” Alpheus burst out.

“Clearly.” Aphrodite rolled her eyes. “Artemis doesn’t have to fulfil her promise to you. When Daylen and Artemis cemented their love with a promise and innocent blood it shattered all other promises. Their love is theirs to keep.”

Alpheus stepped back flabbergasted.

“Aphrodite, always her father’s golden child.” Hera spat.

“Clearly you haven’t met Athena.” Apollo grumbled.

“And Hera… dad you should fix this.” She said.

“Me?”

My mom placed her hands on her hips, “What did you do Zeus?”

“Nothing, nothing, I haven’t done anything to Hera… in recent times.”

“Nothing! You kicked me out of Olympiad! So you could marry Sophia. You degraded me to a simple mage Zeus.”

“We should have known this had something to do with you.” Apollo groaned and dad shot him daggers.

Solaris stepped into the middle like the good mediator she was.

“You Hera still have crimes to be held accountable for.”

One look at her son and he nodded. She raised her hands and portals opened around the dimension. Solaris’ eyes went white. Daylen went stiff too as his eyes turned white too. It all happened so fast. Hera sunk into the ground, the portals opened in the sky and soldiers were dragged into the ground along with their queen.

Solaris then turned on her son. She uttered a spell that sent him back to Paradis to await sentencing.

The skies opened up and returned to the beautiful pink and orange shade.

Daylen held me in his arms again.

“It’s over now.” He whispered.

“So what do we do?”

“We go home.”
