Olympiad is Falling, The Rise of Artemis

Chapter 26- Daylen

The good thing is she isn’t with Hera or so the evil queen claimed. Still Hera was hunting her. I could see why. Artemis was a powerful mage, but could there be another reason?

“Cheer up bud, she’ll turn up. Didn’t you say you wanted her to leave?” Marcus asked.

I was glad we were back on talking terms even though he was a pain in my ass.

“I do,” I scratched my growing beard.

We were at Silver moon, a fae nightclub. We weren’t technically allowed to be here. We sat upstairs in the VIP lounge. If any high rank dinemus saw us we would be in deep shit. A hierarch like General Storm maybe but I’d met other angels mingling with the gorgeous fae women.

“So you want her back so you can send her away?” Marcus asked, taking a swing of some purple beer.

When he said it like that it sounded dumb. “I want to make sure she’s okay. She was taken and I don’t know where Orion took her.”

“You’re hooked man. You think you’re in love with her?”

It felt like a display of plates shattered in my head. I grabbed the whiskey glass and drowned it.

“No. Why would you say that?”Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

Marcus laughed, “Prove it.”

“What? Prove it?” I didn’t like the mischievous grin on his face.

“Coco darling,” He opened his arm and a vivacious and dangerous blonde stepped into his embrace.

“Shit,” I muttered.

Her emerald eyes fixed on me like a lion on meat. Her oceans of blonde curls ran down to her waist. Coco was a beautiful woman anyone with hot blood could see that. She had a tiny waist one that at some point I enjoyed and an admirable bust with breasts spilling out of her top.

“It’s been a while boy. How can I help you guys?” She ran her hand down Marcus’s chest and had her eyes glued on me.

Marcus smiled at me then Coco, “Daylen here needs some company. Someone broke his heart.”

“Aww, how sweet.” She leaned close and grabbed the front of my shirt. “I’ll fix that right up.” She winked.

Marcus laughed and I growled at him.

“Don’t be difficult. Coco’s going to help you get your mind off Artemis, of course if you’re not in love with her.”

I didn’t need to prove to him anything, but what could I do Coco was there waist and flashing her giant breasts at me. My dick hardened, but I didn’t have desire coursing through my veins. Still I stood. She kissed my cheek, leaving a red lipstick stain on it.

I grabbed her hand and dragged her away from Marcus.

“You’ll thank me later!” He called.

“Ugh, bastard.”

I dragged Coco through bodies towards the private rooms. I wanted to get this over with. I remembered the night I found Artemis wandering alone here. Damn it, I nearly froze over when I saw her standing next to a caged demon. I lost my control that day and I kissed her. I fought a smile, she’d gotten upset with me because of Shae.

Coco got free of my hold, drawing me back to reality. My body was fighting this, but maybe I needed a night with Coco to forget Artemis.

“You really need it.” She said, wiggling her small butt at me.

She turned to a room on the right in the hall. I couldn’t understand why people didn’t close their doors when they fucked here. It made the noises even louder. Loud cries of pain and pleasure, skin colliding and the most disgusting dirty talk. I hurried inside.

Once inside Coco pulled the strings of her corset free. Her green eyes grew brighter with lust.

“I know how you like it Daylen.”

I kept my mouth shut and watched her.

The corset hit the floor, leaving her with black tights and two inch heels. She pushed out her breasts, throwing her blonde hair over her shoulder. I shut my eyes and Artemis’s river of curls came into view and her lips when she was upset with me. I needed to get her out of my head.

“Come here babe, let me help you forget all about her.” Coco’s words only registered when she was pushing me down to the bed.

Her lips devoured my neck at the same time she toyed with my belt buckle. I had to touch her. She sat up to tame her hair, flashing her pink nipples at me. They were right in front of me, but I couldn’t make a move.

She dipped her head to the side and frowned. Her grip on my pants tightened and I knew what she wanted to do.

“You don’t want to play with us?” She caressed her breasts.

Fuck me. I didn’t want to play with her.

“Okay, I’ll get you in the mood.”

The zipper came down and so were the boxer briefs. Her lips came contact with my dick. I grunted.

She was on top of me, she was nervous and it warmed me up inside. I was going to be the first man to ever touch her and I knew deep inside it wasn’t going to end there. She was going to be mine forever, because that’s what it meant. It was dumb if I didn’t know how I felt for her. My body jolted back to life and I pushed Coco off.

Her eyes went from green to bright red. I pulled my briefs up and buckled my belt.

“I have to go.” I said quickly.

“She must be a witch because there’s no woman I’ve never been able to make a man forgot.”

I stared at the fae, she was right. I wasn’t right in the head anymore. I needed to find her.

I raced through hall and down to the private area. I sensed eyes on me. I couldn’t stay. I didn’t bother with Marcus either because he was sucking on another blonde. The second I set foot on the main floor bodies started moving. What was it with these dark angels? They should have known by now they couldn’t touch me. I threw the door open and opened the portal inches away from it.

Five or six dark angels jumped to crawl at me. I stepped through the portal before any of them could grab me. If a dark angel stepped through the portal to Paradis, they were instantly disintegrated.

I’d been at the castle all night. I performed every locator spell I could find. Most of them needed blood or something of hers. I called out to her necklace but nothing. Damn it, was she ignoring me now? I should have made a duplicate to be able to track its twin.

I ended up falling asleep at the castle I only knew it was morning when my mother came into my office or dungeon which ever one they had given me.

“Not that I don’t like to see royal members working so hard, but what are you doing here? Have you finally been kicked out of your condo?”

Her slender frame came into view, white robe and blonde hair filled my vision. I groaned and buried my face in my arms. She chuckled softly. She lifted my head and made me face her.

“Daylen?”

“Nothing mother. I was just busy.”

“Tracking spells I see. This is the second time I’ve found you looking for someone. Who is it?”

I straightened my spine and winced. Hunched over my desk isn’t the most comfortable sleeping position.

“No one of great concern.” At least not to her.

She scrawled. Solaris thought she could always get her way.

“I should leave.” But she grabbed my arm, before I was fully up.

“Son.”

I sighed and my head to her, “Yes mother.”

She may have been a couple inches short than me, but she could still hurl me across the room.

“I am your mother and you can speak to me. Is it about that girl? I thought you left her.” Her brows burrowed.

“It doesn’t matter she isn’t here anymore.” Admitting that pinched my heart.

“Oh, did she leave you? Is that why you’re looking for her?”

“Mother! We don’t have to talk about this.”

“Are you heartbroken Daylen?”

I growled, “Mother.”

“I’m only trying to help!”

I exhaled and settled back down. This was awkward to say the least. She was actually trying to console me, but we didn’t do these types of things.

“She’s an extremely powerful mage and she’s missing. I… I don’t want her to end up in the wrong hands.”

Solaris nodded and sat on the chair opposite mine. She picked up my hand and squeezed it. I wasn’t sure what she was doing because power passed through us.

“How did it happen? Do you think Hera, took her?”

I told my mother my suspicions and how Artemis was taken, minus the necklace I gave her and the part where I went to see the evil queen. I doubt she would like that. I told her Artemis would be back to her own dimension as soon I knew she was safe. It was a sacrifice I was willing to make. I knew my mother didn’t approve and there was the small matter of my identity that came into play.

“So, all you want is to make sure this mage stays out of Hera’s hands?”

I nodded.

“If she was taken by portal then you’ll know when another one opens.”

So that’s what the power exchange was.
