Serenity raised her head ever so slightly to glance rideways. She then breathed a sigh of relief and looked up at Jackson, asking. “Have you paid the hill?

She did not want to see the pity in their eyes. She did not want to see them feeling sorry for her.

Zeke was taken alsack, but what shocked him more was the discovery that there was a man by
