Chapter 34: She Went to Find Chu Feng
Gu Zijin called Lisa,
“Tell Qin Muxuan to bring two sets of meals up.”
“Yes, president.”
Lisa phoned Qin Muxuan’s office, but it was Mu Mu that picked up the phone,
“Hi, Lisa, what’s up?”
“Put Qin Muxuan on the phone.”
“But she just went out.”
“Do you know where she went?”

“I think she has gone to the construction site to find Chu Feng.”

“Well done. So, she agreed to be your girlfriend?”

“What brings you here?”
“Do you have time to have lunch with me?”
It was very rare for Qin Muxuan to ask Chu Feng to dine together. Before, he had tried every means to ask Qin Muxuan out and the last time they had had dinner together was on the dinner party among the colleagues of their department. Then Chu Feng answered right away,
“Of course I do.”
They walked into a small restaurant nearby, the owner of which was a native. As he saw Qin Muxuan and Chu Feng coming in, he brought the menu to them right away and said warmly,
“What would you like to eat today? Although our location is a bit remote, our dishes are very delicious as is known to all.”
After Qin Muxuan had ordered a few dishes randomly, she smiled gently and said,
“Last time you bought me dinner, this time it’s my treat.”
She could only afford to go to a small restaurant like this one anyway. Chu Feng who didn’t mind it at all nodded instantly. He sensed that Qin Muxuan had led a frugal life from long ago, so he did not suggest going to the expensive western-style restaurant just now. After Qin Muxuan had chosen a few dishes, she passed the menu to Chu Feng.
When Gu Zijin passed a street on the way to the construction site, he saw Qin Muxuan and Chu Feng sitting in a restaurant together and talking about something.
Halfway through their meal, Chu Feng held Qin Muxuan’s hand passionately. Gu Zijin stared at Chu Feng’s hand with a cold look while compressing his lips tightly. Then he took out his phone and called Qin Muxuan.

“Hello.”
“Come out now, get in the car.”
Gu Zijin said that in a commanding tone. Hearing that, Qin Muxuan clenched her phone, saying,
“But I am having lunch with someone now…”
“Eating lunch doesn’t require the two of you to hold hands together. Qin Muxuan, do I need to remind you that you are Qin Xiaobai’s mother?”

As Qin Muxuan walked out of the restaurant, she saw the Bentley parked by the street. That showy car made her want to walk in another direction.
However, she felt the gaze from two black eyes through the car window. Then she could only walk toward the car.
After she had got in the car, she saw Gu Zijin looking ahead directly. Still, Qin Muxuan felt the man’s anger, so she couldn’t help but say,
“I came here to explain our relationship to Chu Feng…”
“Our relationship?”
“Chu Feng saw us entering the elevator together that morning.”
Gu Zijin suddenly gave a smile, but the smile looked quite scary,
“Qin Muxuan, are you so eager to distance yourself from me?”
Qin Muxuan was choked. Wasn’t that Gu Zijin’s request from the beginning? Why did he say that?
Seeing that Qin Muxuan remained silent, Gu Zijin, with a scornful look on his face, suddenly stepped on the gas. Qin Muxuan’s face was pale with fear. She felt that she must have looked for suffering by getting into his car.

As Gu Zijin parked the car, Qin Muxuan had already got limp on her seat. He drove so fast that she almost vomited everything she had eaten!
Gu Zijin opened the car door with an indifferent look and stretched his long legs to get out of the car. Qin Muxuan followed him and stepped out too. While she was walking, she felt even angrier, thinking, ‘I only went to find Chu Feng for the Gu Family. He’s so unreasonable.’
However, before Qin Muxuan could think of a way to punish Gu Zijin, the latter paused all of a sudden. Qin Muxuan who didn’t see that coming bumped into the man with her forehead. Then she covered her head in pain.
Gu Zijin closed his mouth lightly, putting his long and clean hands on his stomach with his eyebrows knitted. Qin Muxuan who walked behind didn’t see that. Then she said angrily,
“Why did you stop?”
Since he didn’t respond to her, Qin Muxuan ran out of patience and walked by him on her high heels straightly. Gu Zijin grabbed Qin Muxuan’s hand, saying,
“My stomach aches.”
Gu Zijin’s hand was deadly cold. Only after Qin Muxuan turned around did she find that there was something wrong with Gu Zijin. However, there might be other people coming to the parking lot. She was wondering if she needed to help Gu Zijin upstairs.
Thinking of the shocked look on the managers’ faces when they saw her holding Gu Zijin on the twenty-first floor, Qin Muxuan then shook her head and gave up that idea.
Gu Zijin held her in his arms suddenly, which made Qin Muxuan stop breathing. Gu Zijin said in a low voice with his head lowered,
“Just let me rest for a while, I’ll be fine then.”
His exceeding anger gave him a stomachache. He didn’t expect that seeing Qin Muxuan being with another guy would hurt him so much.
