Night of Destiny

Chapter 2594

Harmony responded promptly, “I understand, Mrs. Weiss.”

“Very well! I’ll send you the address. Come and meet me as soon as possible. I have something important to discuss with you.”

“Alright, I’ll be there right away.”

As soon as Harmony ended the call, she realized that her worst fears had come true.

During her time with Ezekiel, she had felt immense happiness. However, a voice inside her kept whispering, “Harmony, you’re not deserving. This kind of life isn’t meant for an ordinary girl like you. You don’t belong to this extravagant world.”

Harmony had mentally prepared herself for this. She knew her time with Ezekiel wouldn’t last long. In her mind, an ordinary girl like her could never marry into such a wealthy family. Moreover, her profession was not one that wealthy families would want their sons to marry into.

But she didn’t expect it to happen so soon. She had thought that if she and Ezekiel kept their relationship quiet, his family wouldn’t find out so quickly.

Tears of fear welled up in Harmony’s eyes as she closed them. She looked up at the villa, not seeing the exquisite and luxurious decoration, but rather the moments she had spent there with Ezekiel.

Am I destined to leave after all?

Harmony took a deep breath, grabbed her bag, and left. The address from Sophia was already on her phone, and she immediately hailed a cab to go there.

When Harmony arrived at an upscale cafe, she found the entire place empty except for the elegantly dressed Sophia sitting by the window.

Harmony thought to herself, This must be Ezekiel’s mother! Just as I suspected, she’s a beautiful woman. Only someone so beautiful could have given birth to a perfect son like Ezekiel

“Miss Mayo, please follow me,” an assistant came forward to greet her.

Just then, Harmony overheard some customers outside talking. She heard the server apologizing, “I’m sorry, we’re closed for a private event today.

Harmony was surprised to learn that Sophia had actually booked the entire cafe to meet her.

As Harmony approached, Sophia finally turned to look at her. But when she saw the girl coming towards her, she was slightly taken aback.

Seeing Harmony in person left a good impression on Sophia. She was dignified and elegant, exuding a sense of cleanliness. She didn’t seem like the kind of person who would take provocative photos.

But now, those photos of the young woman were in her hands, which meant they were also on the internet. Almost everyone online had seen her body. Although Sophia didn’t judge such things and respected all professions, she felt entitled to intervene in her family’s affairs, including her son’s marriage.

Before Harmony could sit down, she greeted, “Mrs. Weiss, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Sophia maintained a polite smile. “Hello, please have a seat. Let’s talk.” Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

Harmony sat down, and a server came forward to ask what coffee she wanted. Harmony casually mentioned her usual choice, and the server immediately left.

They hadn’t expected that the wealthy lady would want to meet the recently popular actress. Rumor had it that she was dating a wealthy young man.

It seemed that the man’s parents had come to discuss the matter. This was going to be interesting. Undoubtedly, no matter how beautiful she was, her background was not a match for a wealthy family, they thought.

Harmony lowered her head, restraining herself, and waited for Sophia to discuss her departure.

Sophia looked at the girl across from her. She was usually gentle with people, so she didn’t know how to be assertive at the moment.

“Miss Mayo, I’m glad that you’ve been accompanying my son during this time. I’ve also seen the news on the internet. It seems like my son treats you well.”

“Mrs. Weiss, we genuinely care for each other.” Harmony lifted her head, determined to fight for her love.
