Cindy hadn't experienced such procedures in the past, so she didn't know much about them. "How are they going to announce the results? Will they give us a score, or will they just tell us if we pass or fail?" she asked.

"It's a grading system. There are four grades in total," the girl explained.

Cindy parted her lips a little as she nodded. "I see." The girl licked her lips. "If you get a higher grade, Miss Warhol will be stricter with the next design task that she hands over to you. Also, if the company receives some projects, she'll hand them over to you to complete them."

Cindy nodded once more. "Okay. I got it. Thank you." The girl rolled back to her seat after that, and Cindy let out a long sigh. Cindy decided that she wouldn't overthink the results as she didn't expect herself to get a high grade this time. After preparing the necessary tools needed for work, Cindy pulled her draft paper and pencil out. She had thought of the design for a long gown, and she wanted to continue drafting it.

Cindy had just started sketching when Serena walked over. She seemed pretty calm and casual as she halted her footsteps by the front door. "The results for your design draft are out. Please come over to collect your drafts whenever you're free." Serena requested for all of them to visit her office one by one, which meant that she probably had some comments on their drafts.

Cindy wasn't in a rush, and she figured that the rest of her peers were probably eager to go over, so she decided that she would go later in the day. She lowered her head and continued to work on her draft before she pulled out the book that Serena had given her previously. The rest of Cindy's colleagues shuffled over to Serena's office one by one—they all had prior experience with receiving their grades, so they were pretty orderly and calm about it. The first person went in to collect her draft before the second person entered the room. There were a few people who seemed rather pleased—they were huge smiles on their faces. Meanwhile, some of the people seemed rather dejected and down. It was easy to judge the grades that they had received based on the looks on their faces. Cindy didn't feel nervous at first, but she was reminded of how all students would receive their results in school when she saw the way her colleagues went over to collect their drafts. For some reason, Cindy felt increasingly nervous as she observed her colleagues.

It was nearly noontime when the flow of people heading into Serena's room began to decrease. Cindy finally got up and walked over to Serena's room when there were no other people who seemed to be heading there. Serena had been kept busy the whole morning—she had to explain her grades and even comfort some of the people. Serena was sipping on some water when Cindy went in, and Cindy could tell that Serena was drained from all the talking.

Once Cindy arrived at Serena's office, she stood in front of Serena's table without saying much. Even though Cindy didn't say anything, Serena knew what Cindy was there for. "Give me a second to gather myself," Serena said as she looked up at the other woman. Cindy was nervous on the inside, but she simply beamed at Serena. "Sure. I'm not in a rush."

Serena took a few more sips of water before she looked for Cindy's draft and pulled it out. She held onto the draft and looked at it for a long time before explaining her scores. "You didn't receive a high grade, but I would say that your grade is relatively high for a newcomer. You showed a lot of improvement, and your linework is smooth. The most obvious weakness you have is in terms of color- matching—I told you about this previously, but I might not have given you enough guidance. The colors here don't seem to fit too well. You might want to be more mindful of this."

Then, Serena spread the draft out on her table before pointing at the details on the collar and sleeves.

"You didn't seem to pay too much attention to these spots. It's pretty common for you guys to neglect these areas." Then, Serena went on to tell Cindy about some tips for proportions and simplicity in her design. She talked about how the complicated design of a collar or sleeves could end up making the whole outfit seem rather disoriented and how it could affect the overall aesthetics. Cindy had learned similar things in the past, but her teacher didn't go into much detail back then.
