Jennifer, finally, could not take it anymore. She went up to Liliana and asked in a small voice, “Are you going to let her yap nonsense like that? I want to beat her and break all her teeth.”

Liliana laughed at Jenn and said aloud, “My lovely Jenn, you are too innocent. I blame Henry for mixing you up with the upper class. People here will eat you alive and not even spit the bones.”

She sighed, “No, I am not going to retort to her. If a dog barks at you, you should not bark back.
