The other guests seated nearby could only remain silent as the two ladies continued their war of

words.

They knew better than to interfere.

Sipping her red wine, Isadora continued, “If I’m not wrong, Amazon Group is no longer in the top-

ten list, right? Meanwhile, Universal Group remains the top company in the world, and it’s unlikely that other companies will surpass it anytime soon.

“To be honest, I’ve been contemplating whether to merge Universal Group with other companies

in Henley. It’s such a difficult decision. I’ve been stressing over it for months!”

A frown creased her face as she said this. It was as if she was making a life–or–death decision,

where in reality, her ‘problems‘ were not even problems to begin with.

Many guests, who were business tycoons themselves, were no doubt displeased at Isadora’s

remarks. They had been working like dogs in hopes of striking business deals with Universal

Group, yet Isadora was ‘stressing over whether to merge the company‘. It was as if they worked hard for nothing.

To no one’s surprise, one of the guests picked up his wine glass and walked over to Isadora’s

table after hearing her remarks. He smiled and said politely, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Sloan. I’m Darius Hayes, the founder of a leather company in Shealor. I was wondering if you’re keen to strike a

business deal with my compan-”

‘Can’t he see I’m in the middle of an argument with Rosella? What’s his problem?!‘ she thought.

Darius‘ face fell upon hearing her response. Being the founder of a company, he regarded himself

to be quite successful at his age. Moreover, Isadora was much younger than him. Even if she was

not interested in business proposals, she should have treated him with respect.

Just as he was about to speak his mind, Isaac slammed a wine glass on Darius‘ head as he

shouted, “Are you deaf?! My daughter’s asking you to get lost!”

Blood started oozing out from Darius‘ head. He nearly shouted for his bodyguard to beat Isaac up, but he tamped down his fury when he recalled Issac was the Lord of Henley. His leather company meant nothing to Issac. He would only get himself in trouble.

As such, Darius ultimately went back to his seat without uttering another word.

Isadora and Rosella also stopped arguing with each other.

Meanwhile, Nash arrived at the venue alone.

Jaxon and the group came with him, but they were hiding for now.

It was all for an element of surprise.

Nash arrived in the Empire Hotel’s company car, a Mercedes–Benz.

While it was no doubt a luxury car, his car was considered plain amongst all the other high–end

cars at the venue.

Just as Nash was about to park, a purple Bugatti came speeding into the driveway.

The door opened, and a long–haired woman dressed in a red coat stepped out. She had on a pair

of sunglasses.

“I’m taking that spot!”

The woman took off her sunglasses and said haughtily.

Ignoring her, Nash shifted the gear into reverse and continued parking.

The woman flew into a rage. She stomped on Nash’s car, smashing the car into pieces. She had

used true energy.

Nash emerged from the car unscathed. He questioned with a frown, “What the hell do you think

you’re doing?”

He reached his hand out, and later, the Bugatti was crushed by an invisible force field.

Several onlookers were stunned at the scene.

“Did you see that? Judging by that kick, she must be in the Mystique Loyalty Realm at least. How’s

that possible for someone at her age?”

“I bet she drank the elixir of youth. Don’t be surprised. She may very well be 70 or 80 years old!”

“Why’re you guys being so superficial? Beauty means nothing to me. Her personality is amazing! I’ve always loved strong and feisty women!”

“Uh… Are you sure you can handle her?”

The crowd fell silent at the word.
