My Stone-Hearted Billionaire Husband

Chapter 61: Bank Card

Like a queen living in her new castle, Kourtney reveled in the thrill of the Serenity Villa on her first day as the young mistress of the manor. The grandeur of the estate was overwhelming, with its sprawling gardens, luxurious furnishings, and breathtaking views.

It was so fucking gorgeous!

It was a far cry from the Allen villa she had lived almost all her life.

Matter of fact, the Allen family villa, no matter how grand it seemed, looked so mediocre and ancient compared to this!

Kourtney couldn’t help but feel a wave of excitement, wondering how she had ended up in this situation.

She had always been a simple girl, content with her modest life. However, fate had a funny way of intervening, and now she was living in a lavish mansion as the wife of the city’s wealthiest and most powerful Billionaire. Everything felt so unreal!

But at the same time, there was a nagging doubt in the back of her mind. Wasn’t this all too good to be true?

She wanted to run!

She wanted to stay!

As if touring the mansion for the second time, she wandered through the halls, taking in the exquisite artwork and intricate details, but her mind couldn’t help but wander back to the previous night.

“God… I feel so embarrassed,” Kourtney winced inwardly for the umpteenth time that morning. She blushed at the memories that flooded her mind.

She couldn’t stop reminiscing about the lovemaking rendezvous she shared with that man all night long.

The way he had touched her…

The naughty sounds and moans she had made…

The way she had responded to his touches…

The way he had made her feel desire and wanted…

The way she had wanted more…

It was a side of herself she had never known before – a side that had been awakened by Sebastian’s intoxicating presence, and now it hurt to even walk!

As she continued her tour of the villa, Kourtney couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief that Sebastian had left. She wondered what work matters had called him away so early on a Sunday morning. However, she was thankful.

It gave her a chance to gather her thoughts and process the whirlwind of emotions that had consumed her since she had met him.

“Focus, Kourt…. FOCUS!!!” she cooed to herself once again.

The last thing she wanted was for this day to go to waste. Earlier that morning, Sebastian had given her the “go ahead” signal to touch up the whole place to her taste.

“It’s your home now. You can do whatever you want!” he had said in his usual proud tone, his words leaving no room for doubt.

Kourtney wasted no time in delving into her mini-house redesign. She quickly ordered the items and furniture she needed online. She planned on putting cute flower vases on their bare and boring bedroom balconies, adding some colorful throw pillows to the living room to give it a cozy and inviting feel rather than looking so gloomy and dark like a Dry-ass place.

And also…

BANG!!!

Just as she was lost in her creative thoughts, the sound of the door opening startled her. Sebastian had returned, his presence filling the room with an electric energy. His eyes locked with hers, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

“You’re back? So soon? I… I thought you had work to do?”

Kourtney wanted to cry. She nearly thought she’d be getting the whole day free from this man and his shenanigans. But he ended up coming back in less than “2 hours”.

Sebastian chuckled, then closed the distance between them, his gaze intense on her delicate figure as if undressing her with his eyes. “Work can wait, my dear. I just couldn’t stay away for too long when I have a lovely wife at home now, can I?”

Sebastian’s words sent a shiver down Kourtney’s spine. She had to give him his 10s with the way he always delivered his sweet talks, making her feel somewhat desired and cherished. But, at the same time, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of frustration at his sudden return.

“Well, I was actually enjoying some alone time and planning on starting my redecoration of the villa. I thought I had the whole day to myself,” she rolled her eyes, not willing to let his charm sway her.

“Redecoration, huh? I must say, I quite like the idea of you making this place your own. But I couldn’t resist coming back to see what mischief you were up to,” Sebastian grumped, his voice filled with arrogance.

He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a sleek black card, handing it to Kourtney with a smug smile on his face.

“What is this?” Kourtney probed.

“This, my dear, is one of my bank cards. This one contains just 300 million dollars, and you can use it as much as you like.” Sebastian said curtly, his features radiating pomposity as usual.

Meanwhile, Kourtney’s emerald-green eyes widened in disbelief, and she gawked at the man in surprise.

‘When did 300 million become a “JUST”?’

She couldn’t fathom the amount of money he was offering her. It’s two times her entire family’s net worth!!!Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

“Thanks, but I can’t accept this. It’s too much.”

“You also said you were redesigning the mansion, so, you can use it to get the things you need for a start,” Sebastian implied, not caring about her usual rejection.

“No thanks! I already finished ordering everything I need,” Kourtney pouted, then crossed her arms relentlessly across her chest, her stubbornness starting to show.

She had always been an independent woman, and the last thing she wanted right now was to be dependent on her husband’s wealth.

“You’re never going to stop being stubborn, are you Kourtney? I’m not even asking you to accept it. I’m telling you. It’s an order!” Sebastian sneered coldly.

Kourtney shook her head, her voice filled with determination. “I don’t want your money, Okay? I won’t be bought.”

“You think I’m trying to buy you? Is that what you think of me?” Sebastian sighed, frustration evident in his voice.

This woman was really testing his patience. Every time he gave her stuff, she’d give him a hard time about it. Why couldn’t she understand that she was HIS woman?

She belonged to him…

She would always be HIS…

He felt as if he had wanted her all his life…

And he would do anything to give her the life she deserved as long as she stayed by his side…

His handsome face hardened, and his anger resurfaced, but he took a deep breath, trying to keep his composure.

Sebastian had always prided himself on his rigid self-control. He knew he had to handle this situation delicately, so his tone turned softer.

“This is not about buying you. It’s about taking care of you. Don’t you see I’d love to give you any and everything you want?” He reasoned softly.

What he wanted was for her to feel like a princess……for her to feel like HIS princess.

Yes, it’s true!

He had always felt in total control of everything before meeting Kourtney. This woman!

She had given him a new, interesting challenge to conquer in his very boring and lifeless life.

He reached down and gently stroked her hair while Kourtney stared up at him, searching his eyes as if looking for any sign or reason to doubt his words. But she found none. All she saw was his open honesty and tenderness.

Her husband’s icy-blue eyes appeared genuine and sincere!

With his strong masculine aura surrounding her and the comforting scent of his cologne filling her head, she felt utterly protected.

After a moment of silence weighing the pros and cons, Kourtney reached out and took the card from Sebastian’s hand. “Fine!”

Sebastian’s lips curled into a smile, his eyes filled with admiration, and then something much darker and lustful…

As the night fell over Serenity Villa, Kourtney, and Sebastian found themselves in their luxurious bedroom, once more, the atmosphere thick with anticipation.

Yet again, moans and groans filled the air as they explored each other’s bodies with a hunger that knew no bounds, each touch and caress leaving them breathless and craving for more until the hours slipped away.

As the first rays of sunlight peeked through the curtains, Kourtney stirred from her sleep. Her body felt heavy and exhausted as if she had been through a whirlwind of passion. She glanced at the clock and realized she had only a few hours before she had to get ready for work.

The Silverstone Gala was barely two weeks away now, and she had a trailer load of work to attend to.

Gently untangling herself from Sebastian’s tight embrace, Kourtney slipped out of bed and made her way to the bathroom.

As she got dressed, she couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt. She knew she should be resting, recovering from the night’s activities. And the thought of leaving Sebastian, who looked equally exhausted alone in bed, somehow made her heartache.

But something in her gut told her the man wouldn’t let her go to work today, and she couldn’t risk it.

But honestly, at this point, she didn’t care if she woke up next to him every morning.

“I’m really a married woman!” she mumbled in the bathtub as she prepared for work at Skyline Events.

It’s only been two nights.

TWO NIGHTS!!!

But… why does it seem like she was quickly getting used to this?
