Lucien carried Lucia down as soon as they got home since she dozed off after muttering some incoherent words after throwing up on him .

He locked the door as he got down and steadied her in his arms .

He had earlier gotten a call from Ken that he was going to crash in a friend’s house by the school and come during the weekends .

Lucien was going to miss his presence but there was nothing he could do about it because Ken is very stubborn.

He climbed the stairs as he got in with ease .

All thanks to Lucia’s light weight body .

He opened the door and dropped her on the bed making her stir a little but she closed her eyes again .

Lucien couldn’t leave her in that state because she was messed up and she needs to be cleaned but he didn’t want her thinking of him taking advantage of her .

He got up from the bed and paced around the room and after coming to a conclusion , he walked up to the bed and started unbuttoning the buttons on her blue long sleeved shirt and was met with her white camisole and Lucien was grateful she wore a camisole inside .

He raised her to one side before taking off her one side of the shirt before doing same to the other side . . . . . .

He went into the bathroom and got some water in a pail bucket and a towel and wiped her face clean .

After cleaning other parts of her exposed body , he covered her with the duvet before returning the bucket to the bathroom and left the room .

As soon as he got to his room , he took off his messed up tuxedo and after dropping it in the laundry basket , he walked into the bathroom to take a refreshing shower …

“Mom I am leaving ” Quinn called out from the stairs checking out herself in the big mirror by the stairs making Mrs Spencer shake her head as she walked down .

” When did you become this early Quinn Spencer ” her mom asked making Quinn cough slightly .

” Mom come on . I have always been early and you know it ” she said adding a few more butterfly clips to her already packed hair .

” Not this early .. and what’s with you and appearance these days ” she asked making Quinn groan.

” Mom I have always been this way , you just haven’t noticed ” Quinn said and the doorbell rang preventing her from saying any other thing .

Quinn ran downstairs as she heard it .

She knew only one person would be there .

She opened the door and just as she had expected .

Damon was there all ready to go to school .

Damon had told her he was an early bird when he resumed and Quinn was trying to meet up .

” You look beautiful ” Damon said and Quinn felt her face flush .

” Thanks and you don’t look bad either ” she said with a small smile .

” Yeah shall we ” Quinn said and Damon shook his head.

” Not untill I do this ” he said and immediately pecked her two cheeks leaving Quinn stunned as he walked away .

Quinn immediately followed him as she closed the door properly forgetting to tell her mom bye .

Mrs Spencer shook her head and smiled as she watched both of them leave . She could feel the atmosphere of love around them and she was happy that Damon was a good guy. . .

” So how was your night ” Damon asked as they walked closer .

” Well it was fine and peaceful although I didn’t sleep due to the Literature Assignment I was given . I wished I could call you to help me but you are a science student ” Lucia said with a grin and Damon giggled .

” I am a science student and that doesn’t mean I don’t know literature ” he said and pulled her to the side out of the road

” Let me see the assignment ” he said

” I already did it Damon ”

” Well let me see ” he insisted and Quinn sighed and brought out her literature book and handed it to him .

Damon went through the assignment that asked to give a brief summary about Mr Hardcastle , Young Marlow , Mrs Hard Castle and Andrew .

He laughed hard as he read her summary of Mr Hardcastle that made Quinn squeeze her face .

” What’s the problem ” she asked confused .

She knew she had written a good summary .

” This is not how to write a summary Quinn Spencer ” he said and Quinn rolled her eyes the way he called her full name .

Damon took a pen out of his pocket and stroked some unnecessary details in her summary before attaching a few details she missed about Young Marlow .

” Here all done ” he said handing over the book to her and Quinn glanced at it before scanning through it and it looks more presentable now .

” Thanks ” she said putting it back in her bag .

He held her hands as they walked closer to the school gate .

” I think you should let me go now ” Quinn said on seeing they were closer to the gate .

” Why ” he asked staring at her keenly .

” Well to avoid them having some unnecessary thoughts ” she Said

” Hmm ” Damon muttered and released her hand .

They entered the school and walked towards the hallway that would leave them to their different departments .

” See you later Quinn ” he said and almost pecked her before walking away through the bend that took him to his class .

Quinn waved at him as she headed to her class with a smile on her face .

” Boom Lover girl ” she heard someone scream in her ear scaring the life out of her .

She turned back to see Ava her friend grinning sheepishly at her .

” What was that for huh Ava ” Quinn asked slightly pissed .

” It’s me saying a good morning to you since you didn’t see me when passing the hall way ” Ava said with a scoff .

” Well I didn’t and that wasn’t why you want to send me to the hospital emergency center this morning .”

” You are so not serious . What’s going on between you and Damon ”

” Nothing why would you think something is going on . Is it because we come to school together everyday or something . He is my neighbor and you know it ” Quinn said in one breath .

” I think so because it’s in your eyes and also in his eyes .” Ava said pointing her eyes .

” What do we have this morning ” Quinn asked diverting the question .

Ava rolled her eyes knowing what she was trying to do but she was going to let her be today anyway .

” Literature ” she said and Quinn smiled leaving ava in confusion .

” Let’s go ” she said and Ava sighed while following her. .

The students busied themselves with one thing or the other . Some read , some talked and did what ever they felt like .

Yeah the literature students were having a free time waiting for the teacher to be done with their homework .

Quinn and Ava played a mind game to ease time as they waited .

The teacher walked into the class and the whole noise died down that even a pin drop could be heard. .

” Good day class .. without wasting another minute of our time . I am done marking the assignment and some of you did really well while some of you were not impressing at all . I urge you all to try your best next time . ” He said and the class muttered an ‘OK Sir’ .

” Who is Quinn Spencer . Follow me to my office now. . ” He said and the whole class including Quinn murmured as he left the class .”

” Do you know why I am being summoned ” Quinn asked hoping she had not failed woefully .

” Maybe he wants to fuck you hard . I heard he is good ay that ” Vivian , one of the troublemakers and wide mouth gossipers in the class echoed and the class hissed at her .

” I think you should hurry now ” Ava said and Quinn nodded as she left the class .

She passed a few doors untill she got to his office .

She did the sign of the cross before knocking on the door .

The door opened and she entered to meet his smiling by his desk making Quinn’s mind race .

‘ what if he really wants to fuck her hair just like Vivian said ‘ the thought ran through her head but she quickly tarnished it .

” Mrs Quinn i must commend you for a perfect assignment . I am giving you an A in the literature test coming up already . ” He said and Quinn jumped up as he handed over the book to her .

” Thank you sir , ” she said hugging her book .

She ran out of the office to the place she could think of .
