Lucia turned towards the door since she was closest to it and opened it revealing Cara who looked dashing in her blue knee length jumpsuit .

Cara sized Lucia up wondering who this beautiful lady was in white Polo and blue jean , no doubt she was just returning from anywhere she went

“Good evening boss ” she greeted standing by the door and watched as Lucien stood up from the dinning .

” Wow Cara good to see you . Come join us for dinner “Lucien said and Cara felt on air .

Wow she would have dinner with her boss .

” That’s not actually why I came …

“Why you came can wait , you are a guest and you should be treated as one although guests don’t come at night unnannounced “Lucien said and smiled making Cara’s face flush in embarrassment .

“Lucia come check out these new clothes I got ” Quinn finally spoke out and started working to the stairs really angry at the rude girl who came to visit her brother without acknowledging anyone there .

Bitch ” Quinn muttered .

Lucia who was happy that Quinn had used a medium to bring her from the awkward conversation followed Quinn behind .

“So I need gists about your job today , full one ” Quinn said and turned around and pulled Lucia inside her room making Lucia groan .

“Quinn can I just go take a shower. I feel dirty ” Lucia said calmly and Quinn groaned .

“Ok let’s take our bath together while we gist “Quinn said and Lucia gasped.

“No way Quinn .”Lucia said and ran off making Quinn fall into giggles .

” Thanks boss for this meal ” Cara said taking her eyes around the house .

The interiors were beautiful and breathtaking .

She can’t just wait to become Mrs Spencer .

” You are welcome Cara . So what do I owe this impromptu visit ” Lucien said trying not to sound too official .

He can’t still decipher why she was here .

“Uhmm you know you said you were sick so I decided to come check up on you ” Cara said trying not to sound nervous .

” Oh that’s so nice of you , you could have come earlier it’s already late , and I don’t think you can go home by this time ” Lucien said staring at the wall clock .

Thelma cringed on hearing what her boss was telling the mannerless girl .

She shouldn’t spend the night here .

” So do you mind if I ask you to crash here . There is a free room next to my sister’s room ” Lucien said and Cara’s heart raced .

She would be spending the night here .

Jane’s plan made sense anyway .

And she had failed to notice his sister when she entered , Her bad .

“Ok I think that’s okay ” Cara said standing up .

“Okay come with me “Lucien said and led the way up the stairs .

He wasn’t really comfortable that his staff would be spending the night here , his secretary at that .

“Okay here is the room ” Lucien pointed at shaking from his reverie .

” Good night Cara ” Lucien said and walked away .

Cara opened the door and a wow w escaped her lips .

This room is dope and it didn’t look like it was occupied by anyone but it was exceptionally neat .

Cara sat on the bed and made a mental note in her head that her plans were working .

” So you mean you want to work as a housekeeper” Quinn asked in disbelief .

Despite that Lucia had no certificate with her , she could tell from her intonation to that she went to school .

“Well that’s the only work I could get because I don’t have any certificates.” Lucia said ignoring the look of dissapproval on Quinn’s face .

” Then why don’t you let my brother help you , he saved y..

” Girl codes . Zip up quinn . He saved me to kill me , can’t you see he is bent on killing me again.” Lucia snapped making Quinn clamp her mouth shut .

“I am sorry for overreacting ” Lucia apologized.

” It’s no problem , I do understand how you feel . I wonder why my brother is that way ” Quinn said sighing .

” Well I think I should go to bed , tomorrow is my first day at work yunno “. Lucia said getting up and winking at Quinn who giggled .

Lucia bumped into Lucien as she was about entering her room .

She tried to dodge but he towered over her in a dominating way .

” So you haven’t told me where you had been today , can I hear it ” Lucien said trying to be calm but he could see fear , nervous and a submissiveness in Lucia’s eyes .

Is that how he makes her cringe .

” I just went out to know the surroundings .” Lucia said gaining her tongue .

” Hmmph want if you had gotten lost ” he asked not like he cared anyway if she got lost .

” No I wouldn’t have ” she said not bothering to tell him. that Quinn gave her a phone .

” Camille hurry up , it’s time for school ” ma’am Kim shouted at the fourteen years old girl who ran down the stairs with her bag hung on her back .

“Here is your lunch box , when you get hungry , you can eat from this pack ” ma’am Kim said pecking her .

” Ok thank you “. She said and ran out to meet the driver already waiting for her ..

Her father had put in all measures to make her life amazing and stress free .

The driver drove her down to Crestview High School and she came down beaming happily .

” Bye John ” Camille said waving at the driver who drove off .

She took strides into the school and watched as everyone laughed as they looked at her .

Huh what was wrong with her ” she muttered .

“The new girl is holding lunch box like a kid ” a girl said and everyone laughed .

Tears gathered in her eyes as she ran off and boom. into a thick wall but this wall was soft .
