Amelia heaved in anger and embarrassment turning to different shades of red.

“You! You are shameless Liam don’t you know how to knock?”

“Knock? this is my room and I can come in whenever I want to, and besides the guest room is downstairs you are always welcomed there, but if you choose to be stubborn then I might have to be watching a strip show from today onwards”

Liam shamelessly commented but he regretted it the next minute.

Amelia smiled mischievously, she can’t let him win now.

She placed her hands on his chest pushing him slowly to the bed “what are you trying to do? get off me!” Liam yelled at her.

Amelia smiled in victory feeling the budge beneath her.

Liam was speechless when she got up from him. “Dear husband I hope you’ll learn your lesson!” She turned around heading into the bathroom.

Liam sighed in frustration his little brother was now standing proudly.

He cursed slightly getting off the bed, he heard the water running and a humming tune followed.

Louisa clutched the file tightly, she had been to various companies in the quest of getting a good job after she was fired.

Whenever she remembers the reason she was fired anger engulfs her whole being.

Right now she was on her way for another interview, she barely have twenty minutes to get there.

It seems fate doesn’t want her to get a job either, she stood under the scorching heat waiting for a cab.

She saw a car approaching and waved for it to stop, instead it splashed mud on her.

“What the f*ck?” She cursed loudly, her clothes were completely ruined even her face and file didn’t miss the harsh treatment.

The car stopped and reversed back, the glass whined down “here I’m sorry I didn’t see you there” he said stretching a box of tissue paper.

Louisa glanced at the box of tissue in his hand and slowly travelled to his face with a deadly glare.

“You again?!” Louisa gritted her teeth.

“Lou?” Dylan got out of his car and stood in front of her to receive a sharp slap from her.

“You did this on purpose! i will miss my interview because of you, of course you are the main reason why I lost my job! In the first place” Louisa breathed in anger.

Dylan couldn’t believe that he got slapt again by her when he was trying to be nice, he really didn’t see her earlier when he was driving.

“I really didn’t see you there Lou”

He took a tissue out of the box wiping the mud off her face, “I had to get you fired from your old job because you shouldn’t be working in a place like that where men get a chance to touch you anyhow!”

Louisa narrowed her eyes at him “did I ask for your help? and now what? I don’t have a job anymore is it better that way?”

Dylan collected the file from her and went through it “are you sure you want to work there?” Dylan asked.

Louisa collected the file back and looked away “I’d love to, I saved it last but now I won’t get it because of you”

Louisa started moving away “I’ll help you get it” she heard him speak.

Dylan kept on stealing side glances at Louisa, she was constantly sighing and cracking her fingers.

The car pulled over into the parking lot, Louisa felt the car stopped moving, she came down from the car and stared at the building in awe.

Dylan came down and stood beside her, “go in I’ll wait right here” he replied with a smile.

Louisa stared at him weirdly, was he foolish? can’t he see her unkempt state?

“Do you really think I’ll be let into the building with my current state?”

“You’ll never know if you don’t try, don’t worry I already spoke to them on your behalf ” he assured.

Louisa walked into the building, she saw the gazes the employees gave her as she walked past them, she really felt like a fool, she shouldn’t have listened to Dylan and come in here dressed like this.

She went to the front desk, the lady raised her hand to stop her from coming closer.

Louisa frowned at the rude behavior, it seems no one has manners in here. “I’m here for an interview, please direct me to the floor” Louisa forced a smile trying to be polite.

The receptionist scoffed loudly “oh sorry you just came in through it” she replied scornfully.

The phone beside her rang, she picked it up.

Louisa felt embarrassed and was about heading out when the receptionist called back “excuse me miss, the twentieth floor”

Louisa was surprised but nevertheless she quickly left.

The receptionist watched her back in wonder.

Louisa breathed in and stepped into the CEO’s office, “hi miss please take your seat!”

Louisa raised a brow at the young man who looked somewhat familiar to her, as if struck on the head it suddenly dropped.

He is one of those spoilt brat who visits the club where she worked at before she got fired.
