Chapter 42
Trent was lying in a puddle of rainwater and blood. He was shouting in pain at Morgan, sitting on the throne in the living room, "Ahhh! Dad! Save me! Hurry up and kill them! They broke my arms and legs! Give them hell!"
"Ahh!" Trent let out another scream as Liam stepped on Trent's left ankle. As he did so, he looked at Morgan with a burning anger in his eyes.
"Ah! Liam, how dare you! This is the Walker Mansion! My father will kill you! My father is Morgan Walker! This won't end well for you, Celena, and that little bitch! I'll make you watch me sleep with that bitch! I'll have a few men deal with that little bastard too!" Trent bellowed in pain on the ground.
Liam had no way to vent his anger as he listened to Trent's aggressive taunt. He then stepped a little harder, cracking Trent's bones. Trent wailed miserably, "Ahh! It hurts! Dad, save me!"
As Trent howled in agony, he could not handle the pain from his shattered ankle and fainted.
After Morgan saw his only son wailing under Liam's foot, he stared at Liam viciously and roared, "Liam, I have to admit that of all the young men I've met all these years, you have the most guts! How dare you barge into my mansion with just eight people? Hmph! How naive and arrogant of you. I'll give you a chance. As long as you kneel before my son and cripple yourself, I can consider letting you go."
His voice was so booming that it echoed throughout the entire living room.
Liam looked at the few in the living room and sneered. He did not even try to hide the disdain in his eyes.
He looked at Morgan and said, "I'm afraid you've forgotten something, Morgan. I'm here to make your family pay for what you owe us. Celena, Jovie, and I have suffered because of your family. I want your family to pay twice as much for what we've gone through."
"Hmph! How arrogant. You're not going to be able to mess with my family with just you guys!" Morgan shouted in a stern voice after he saw how cocky Liam looked.
As soon as Morgan was done, more than a thousand men in black clothes rushed out of hiding. The sound of their footsteps as they stepped on the rainwater sounded like guns on the battlefield.
The men were all holding machetes and steel rods, and they surrounded the entire mansion like a black fog.
There were men in black as far as the eye could see, and all of them were out for blood. Crisp pitter-patters could be heard as the raindrop hit their machetes.
Meanwhile, a thousand men walked out from behind Morgan. They stared coldly as they stood beside Morgan like mighty warriors.
As soon as they appeared, the imposing air they exuded overwhelmed the sea of men in black.
They were the Walkers' skilled warriors who were sent away for training. They were all extraordinarily skilled in combat and could go against ten people at once.
Over the years, the Walkers had been able to grow very smoothly. Apart from the family's power alone, these skilled warriors played a key role as well.
"Do you really think we have nothing up our sleeves at all?" Morgan bellowed furiously.
The Walkers' skilled warriors were not the only ones among the thousand people. Many of them were fighters that the Walkers had sent for training. They were not on par compared to the skilled warriors, but they were invincible compared to the majority of the public.
With so many skilled warriors present, Morgan had nothing to fear at all. Therefore, he would agree if Liam dared to declare war on him.
The Walkers had been silent for years. This was a good chance for them to stun Drunham City again. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
