Liam ignored Zachary. He carried Jovie in one hand and held a wooden stick that came out of nowhere with the other hand.

He lowered his head and said to Jovie gently, "Jovie, be a good girl and close your eyes. I will play a game with you! If you win, then I will buy you cakes! But, you're not allowed to open your eyes, or else there will be no reward for you!"
