Chapter 95
Chapter 95
Clark said, “Mr. Bradley, I’d like to take care of Esther if she does have selective amnesia.”
Upon hearing that, Felix volunteered as well. “I can do it too.”
Clark reached out and gently stroked Felix’s head, saying in a warm voice, “Mr. Felix, before you take c
are of someone else, you need to take care of yourself.”
“I…” Felix paused for a moment, then softly said, “I think I can leave the hospital now too.”
Clark casually suggested, “Esther is Ms. Anstey’s sister. I think she’ll be happy knowing that Esther has
woken up. How about discussing with Ms. Anstey to bring Esther back to the estate? I believe that her
memory will slowly recover once she’s in a familiar environment.”
Bradley rubbed his slightly throbbing temples with his long fingers as he said, “Let’s wait for the results
of the
psychological evaluation.”
Clark agreed. “Alright, we’ll follow the doctor’s advice.”
The waiting time felt long and difficult.
Felix’s little face was filled with worries. When the nurse saw
that he was done with the IV, she also removed the needle
from his hand.
Clark held Felix’s hand, pressed a cotton ball against the needle site, and carefully prevented any blee
ding.
After some time, the door to the doctor’s office opened.
Esther ran happily to Felix and reached out to hug him. “Felix, the doctor said Mommy can leave the ho
spital!”
Felix asked eagerly, his eyes full of excitement, “Really?”
“Yeap!” Esther held Felix’s hand and said softly, “I really hate hospitals!”
Felix agreed with her. “Mommy, I don’t like hospitals either.”
“Felix, let’s go back to the ward first,” Bradley interrupted their mother–and–son interaction.
Felix held Esther’s hand and said in a cute manner, “Mommy, let’s go back to the ward and wait for Dad
dy to complete the discharge procedures.”
“Okay!”
Felix and Esther walked away from Bradley’s sight holding hands.
Just by looking at their figures from behind, Bradley felt an unprecedented sense of joy. His gaze soften
ed at that moment, becoming incredibly gentle.
“Are you both family members of Ms. Quill?” asked the psychologist.
Bradley instantly switched to his domineering CEO mode and replied coldly, “Yes.”
“Please come into the office so we can have a detailed discussion.”ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Clark and Bradley entered the psychologist’s office.
Bradley immediately sensed the psychologist’s
professionalism as he entered the counseling room. The room was
arranged in a comforting manner, with soft and calming music playing in the background. The atmosph
ere naturally induced a sense of relaxation, casing the tension in one’s
nerves.
