My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 909

Chapter 909

While Esther was engrossed in reviewing the data, Logan didn't disturb her. Instead, he examined her

sketch. Esther had exceptional drawing skills. With just a few strokes, she captured the essence.

Logan had glanced out the window and seen the similarity between the sketch and Bradley. He

wondered why Bradley would make such an obvious mistake if he were indeed the head of the criminal

organization.

After scrutinizing the drawing for a while, Logan took out his phone and contacted his colleague to

investigate Bradley. It was better to err on the side of eliminating the threat than to let it pass.

It took Esther a full hour to go through all the files in the compressed package. She looked up from the

screen, slightly dazed, and asked solemnly, "Logan, after tracking this case for so long, is this all the

information we have?"

"Yes," Logan replied. "The enemy is more cunning than I anticipated. Once they sense danger, they cut

off the tail to survive." Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Esther nodded. She could tell that despite continuous investigations, there had been minimal progress

in these cases.

"So, what do we do now?" Esther nervously asked.

"The best outcome would be to gather evidence against the criminal group and apprehend those

involved," Logan stated.

Without needing Logan to say it, Esther knew the worst-case scenario—failure in their mission could

cost their lives. However, there was a possibility that the adversaries might spare Logan's life due to his

identity.

"Logan, we'll definitely succeed in catching them," she reassured.

A failed confession for the first time left Bradley feeling inexplicably frustrated. Upon returning to his

temporary residence across from the hospital building, he tossed his phone onto the table.

Once again, Mandy dutifully sent several file packages to Bradley. These packages contained nothing

but novels to win one's wife back. She hoped that Bradley would study them earnestly.

Bradley poured himself a drink but remembered the doctor's advice, placing the glass aside. He

casually opened his phone and started reading the novels Mandy had sent.

As he was deeply engrossed in the novel, his phone screen displayed a missed call from Dylan.

Bradley called back and asked coldly, "What is it?"

"Mr. Warner, Mr. Oliver Quill wants to see you," Dylan replied.

Upon hearing Oliver's name, Bradley's eyes instantly flared with anger.

"When?"

"Now," Dylan answered.

"Come pick me up."

-

Dylan drove Bradley to the club where he was meeting Oliver.

The corridors were quiet with bamboo groves. Oliver stood by the French windows, gazing at the

distant lake calmly.

Bradley entered in a coat, accompanied by a gentle night breeze.

Inexplicable rage surged within Bradley when he caught sight of Oliver. "Mr. Quill."

"Take a seat." Oliver promptly pulled out an envelope and tossed it before Bradley.

"Mr. Quill, what's the meaning of this?" Bradley glanced at the envelope on the table, his expression

indifferent.

"This is the information you wanted."
