My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 907

Chapter 907

Logan exited the elevator and headed straight to the hospital room.

"I just heard the nurse say you called the cops. What happened?" he asked.

Esther, her face pale, rubbed her temples. "It's Bradley pestering me again."

Logan was rendered speechless. As a man, he couldn't comprehend Bradley's mindset. Despite being

explicitly told that this Esther was not the one he thought, why did Bradley persist in bothering her? If

he truly loved her, why treat her this way?

"But that's not the main issue." Esther handed Logan a sketch.

Confused, Logan asked, "What's this about?"

"He's dressed exactly like the person we saw on the screen today."

Logan took the sketch and glanced out the window. He saw Bradley leaving with Mandy. Studying him

closely, Logan had a mental question mark.

"What are you thinking?"

Esther took a deep breath and calmly stated, "Ignoring personal grudges, I don't believe this is a Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

coincidence."

Logan nodded slightly. "Don't dwell on it. I'll investigate Bradley first.

"If he's involved with the criminal group or their leader..." A chill ran down Esther's spine. "Do you think

my sister died because she discovered his secret?"

Logan chuckled at Esther's conspiracy theory about Bradley. "I don't think it's as dramatic as you're

imagining. If you're worried, you can delve deeper into your sister's past."

"Okay." Only then did realization strike Esther. "The van we were in..."

"Five minutes ago, the police received reports of a three-car collision on the highway. The van was

burnt, but our driver confirmed he was only a hired chauffeur. Our colleagues checked, and it was true."

"The enemy is craftier than we thought."

"Yeah." Logan's gaze was determined. "That's why we must unravel this complex criminal group as

quickly as possible."

"Understood."

A faint sound of footsteps interrupted them. Logan and Esther tacitly stopped their discussion.

The nurse gently knocked. "Ms. Quill, your visitor, Jasper Searle, is here."

"Come in," Esther replied.

Jasper entered, dressed casually. He greeted, "Mr. Foster, Ms. Quill."

Esther had learned online that Jasper was her sister's close friend. He had supported her through her

lowest times, shielding her from Bradley's attacks time and again.

"This is a health supplement I brought for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery," Jasper said, offering

the supplement.

Logan raised an eyebrow and thanked him, "Thank you, Mr. Searle."

Jasper felt as if he saw glimpses of the past Esther through her eyes. He was the one who had

suggested a fresh start for Esther.

Initially, he had considered erasing her memory entirely. However, he feared Bradley's persistence if

Esther had only lost her memory and changed her name but looked the same.

For her safety, Jasper tactfully used a hint of resentment.

"Mr. Foster, can we talk?"
