My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 896

Chapter 896

Esther declared, "I want to create a magnificent cage for Bradley."

To this, Logan said, "Imprisonment is illegal."

"It's just a hobby," she casually replied.

Logan was rendered speechless. Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

Esther confidently added, "Don't worry. I still have unsettled scores. I won't shoot myself in the foot over

this."

Logan remained silent.

Esther idly doodled on a piece of paper.

Logan gave it a brief glance and smiled helplessly, his gaze betraying a hidden indulgence unnoticed

by the world.

A sudden "Ding" interrupted the atmosphere as Logan's phone chimed with a text message.

Logan's brows furrowed slightly as he read the message, indicating his displeasure.

Sensing Logan's off mood, Esther lifted her head from the paper and asked softly, "Logan, what's

wrong?"

"Fish caught the bait," he revealed cryptically.

Esther perked up instantly, looking to Logan for an explanation.

Logan promptly deleted the message and advised, "Leave it hanging for a bit."

Esther clenched her fist instinctively, a faint unease washing over her—something significant was about

to happen.

"Are you ready?" Logan asked.

Esther nodded resolutely.

Meanwhile, Bradley arrived at an exclusive teahouse.

The tea master was seated at an antique table and placed a cup of fragrant tea in front of him. "Sir, this

is Mount—"

Before the tea master could continue, Bradley cut her off coldly, "Shut up."

Silenced, the tea master shyly glanced at Bradley's handsome face, unable to resist his good looks and

charm.

But before she could impress Bradley with her knowledge, she was rebuked by his cold tone.

"Bradley, sorry for being late," Mandy apologized.

Living a fantastic life lately, free from X's orders and tasks, Mandy had been indulging in shopping and

beauty treatments, carefree and content.

Bradley slid a bank card to Mandy and said with a raised eyebrow, "Mandy, I'm hiring you to be my

fiancee."

Mandy found the statement absurd. Naturally, she declined outright. Did he think she would come

running whenever he called, like a dog?

Upon hearing her refusal, Bradley's gaze turned dark as he questioned, "Have you considered the

consequences of rejecting me?"

Scoffing, Mandy took the tea the tea master passed her, took a sip, and retorted, "Are you trying to take

your lifesaver's life?"

Bradley took a long look at Mandy. She wasn't afraid. She had been investigating Bradley's liver

transplant recently and had some clues.

"Mandy, I'll ask you one last time. Do you really not want to?"
