Chapter 50
Chapter 50
“Daddy.”
Felix subconsciously hugged the Thor figurine in his arms tighter when he saw Bradley.
Clark greeted him politely as well. “Mr. Warner, you don’t look too good. Do you feel unwell
somewhere?”
Clark had watched Bradley grow up. One glance was all the older man needed to see that Bradley was
not in the right mood.
“Clark, you’re here?” Bradley said gently, seeing Felix cling to the Thor figurine fondly, “Felix’s happy to
see you.”
Clark patted Felix’s head. “Mr. Felix’s in a brighter mood because he’s gotten healthy now.” This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
He paused to think for a moment and asked, “Ms. Quill donated her bone marrow to Mr. Felix. Mr.
Bradley, I could prepare some nutritious meals for her these days. What do you think?”
Once Bradley thought about Esther, whose fate was unknown in the operating room,
he stiffly rejected the idea. “She has Mr. Searle taking care of her. No need to consider her so much.”
“Mr. Bradley, Mr. Searle’s care is his effort. Ms. Quill is still Mr. Felix’s savior. She gave him a second
chance at life.”
Clark sighed helplessly in his heart. He had already told Bradley that Esther was his savior, but he still
had this attitude. It was clear that the two of them were ultimately not meant to be together.
Never mind. Matters of the heart could not be forced.
Now that they had both found other companions, Clark could only wish them well. He wished for them
to find true love and be together for a lifetime.
“As you wish.”
Bradley walked into his suite in a gloomy mood, trying to numb himself with the mountain of work piled
up in front of him.
Cole stood at the door and knocked on it.
“Come in.”
Cole pushed open the door, walked in quickly, and closed the door behind him.
“Mr. Warner, the DNA paternity test between you and Tinkerbell is out.”
Bradley raised his eyebrows slightly and sarcastically asked, “Do you think I need to look at it?”
Cole respectfully said, “After Tinkerbell passed away, Madam insisted on doing a DNA paternity test.”
Bradley reached out his hand toward Cole, and the latter respectfully handed over the envelope.
Bradley cut open the sealed envelope with a pair of scissors and pulled out a DNA paternity test report,
flipping through it carelessly until he reached the line for the final data.
When his indifferent gaze fell on that ordinary set of numbers, his nonchalant gaze suddenly became
fierce and ferocious.
“Cole, who
gave you the courage to bring me a fake DNA paternity test?”
Cole was dumbfounded! What was fake?
He hurriedly explained, “Mr. Warner, I’ve never opened this envelope. I don’t even know what the result
of the DNA paternity test is.”
Bradley quickly flipped through the DNA paternity test. His slender fingers seemed to want to manifest
something out of this DNA paternity test report.
His sharp gaze was like an eagle trying to see through the report. His trembling lips revealed his
anxiety and restlessness.
This could never be! It was absolutely impossible!
How could Esther’s daughter, Tinkerbell, be his daughter!?
