My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 115

Chapter 115

Despite Bradley’s grip on Felix, the young boy managed to free himself and rushed into Esther’s arms.

Without any shyness, he kissed her cheek tenderly, his small hands gently cradling her face while tears Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

welled up in his eyes. In a choked voice, he uttered, “Mommy, I thought you didn’t want me anymore.”

“That’s not true.” Esther reached out and tightly embraced Felix, their foreheads touching and their

noses brushing against each other. “Even if Mommy doesn’t want the whole world, Mommy will always

want you.”

“Mommy…” Felix called out in a soft voice.

Bradley turned around and entered the study. He threw a white shirt from the wardrobe to Esther

before forcefully lifting Felix from Esther’s embrace.

“Daddy…” Felix exclaimed as his body was lifted into the air.

“Change your clothes,” said Bradley.

Only then did Esther realize that her current state was not suitable for such closeness with Felix. She

watched Bradley carry Felix away in his arms and felt a slight warmth in her heart.

The long shirt from Bradley looked like a dress when Esther wore it. She meticulously buttoned every

button, ensuring they were securely fastened. Then she rolled up the sleeves, revealing her fair arms.

With just these adjustments, she appeared to be drowned in the shirt.

Esther opened the closet and picked out a red tie. She tied it around her waist, accentuating her perfect

waistline. After doing all these, she lightly smoothened out the wrinkles on the shirt at the waist, giving

off a casual yet elegant air.

When Esther opened the door to the hospital room, and Felix saw the transformed Esther, he could not

help but exclaim in admiration, “Mommy, you look so beautiful! Like a fairy!”

A hint of astonishment flickered in Bradley’s indifferent eyes. Esther was not wearing any makeup, yet

she had a natural charm. Her long hair cascaded casually, and the simple white shirt had a unique

charm being worn on her.

Although she was covered from head to toe, she exuded an alluring purity that she was

unaware of.

“So ugly,” remarked Bradley.

Felix widened his eyes and looked at Bradley, fiercely defending, “Daddy, you have no taste!”

Felix ran up to Esther, grabbing her hand and tilting his little face up to say proudly,” Mommy, you’re the

most beautiful fairy. Daddy doesn’t know how to appreciate your beauty!”

“Felix,” Bradley coldly admonished.

Fearlessly, Felix made a funny face at Bradley and said in a cute voice, “Mommy, let’s go. shopping. I

have a lot of gift money, and I want to buy you a lot of beautiful clothes.”

Esther touched Felix’s little face, her voice gentle. “Mommy has money.”

“But Mommy’s money belongs to Mommy.” Felix patted his chest like a little man. “Your son earns

money to buy beautiful clothes for Mommy.”

A sudden pang hit Bradley’s heart. He had been so good to Felix all these years, yet this little rascal

never mentioned buying him anything.

“My son is so adorable!” Esther held Felix’s hand and said softly, “Shall we go shopping now?

Esther was still in Bradley’s shirt and could not help but feel its suggestive tone. In the depths

of her heart, there was a sense of unease.
