My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 104

Chapter 104

Certain things were a matter of principle, and Bradley would never compromise.

Meanwhile, Felix, who was buried under the blanket, thought that since his father did not want him to

see his mother, he would secretly go see her anyway.

As long as he was careful, he would not be found out.

Bradley took a long glance at Felix, who was hidden under the blanket and was about to walk over

when he heard his phone ring.

He entered the study and picked up the call indifferently after a look at the caller ID on his phone.

“Liliane.”

Liliane was extremely excited as she said, “Brad, my mom! A friend of my mom knows the wedding

dress designer Anna. Anna happens to be doing a local tour showcasing her wedding dress, ‘The

Wedding Dress from Heaven’. If you’re available, can you go see her with me?”

Bradley asked flatly, “When?”

“This Friday.” Liliane held her phone, her eyes full of smiles, as she said, “Brad, if Anna’s willing to sell

me the dress, let’s have a tropical island theme wedding, okay?”

“Sure.”

Bradley did not care much about the scale and style of the wedding. To him, it was just to give Felix a

legal status. As for him and Liliane, they happened to be Felix’s biological parents.

“Brad, then…” Liliane’s voice carried a hint of timidity. “When should we register our marriage?”

“We’ll register once the lawyer completes the divorce proceedings.”

“Mm.” Liliane did not want to continue talking to Bradley and spoke softly. “Rest early, Brad. Good

night, muah!”

Liliane’s kiss made Bradley furrow his brows slightly.

He heard the beeping sound from the other end of the line and rubbed his temples. He then continued

to sit at the desk and attend to official matters.

After finishing the pile of paperwork that resembled a small mountain, he opened the drawer to put

Cole’s old phone inside. Unexpectedly, he found the girly diary that Clark had given him.

Bradley took it out from the drawer and hesitated for a few seconds before putting it back.

He had no interest in Esther’s past emotional experiences. Likewise, he had no interest in Esther’s

secret crush diary.

If his grandfather were alive, he would rather not have any interaction with Esther in this lifetime.

Bradley took one last look at the diary filled with girlish thoughts, closed the drawer, and washed up

before going to sleep by Felix’s side.

The moment Bradley went to sleep with Felix, the boy’s little arm unconsciously wrapped around his

arm, and his voice was soft as he murmured in his sleep, “Mommy… I miss you so,

so much.”

“Felix, sleep well. I’ll have your Mommy come to accompany you tomorrow.” Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Meanwhile, Liliane’s expression turned frighteningly dark after she hung up.

With cold and ruthless eyes, she looked at the teddy bear on the side and suddenly vented her anger

by grabbing a pair of scissors and violently cutting it into pieces.

Leah did not stop her outburst. Instead, after Liliane had finished venting, she gently handed her a

glass of water. “Liliane, do you feel better now?”

Liliane silently nodded and asked indignantly, “Why did Bradley hide the news of Esther waking up from

me?”
