Niguel alighted from the Car looking around his surroundings, it had taken him not more than 30 minutes to arrive at their location.

Not wanting to waste another second as he had already delayed enough already, Niguel made his way towards the door of the building with his men following behind him. Getting to the old door, his men broke through the door, hereby creating a loud noise as dust filled the air.

His insides were immediately semeered with anger seeing the scene before him.

“Get away from my fiancee.” He ordered, his voice coming out as a growl.

Niguel asked, taking his eyes off Jaiden and knelt in front of Emily who was in trance. She was too weak and scared to say anything.

Trying to raise her head up, a strong wave of headache hit her and her vision became blurry.

“Niguel… You came..” she muttered, seeing Niguel face in her blurry vision. Her voice was barely audible and then she lost conciousness.

“Emily! Emily!” He growled, hurriedly untieing her and she came crashing on his body.

“It’s alright, everything’s over, don’t be afraid.” Niguel whispered in her ears, gently taking her in his arms, carrying her like a princess and started walking towards the exit.

“He mustn’t escape, I want him alive.” He muttered to his men, giving them an order as he walked out of the door and made his way towards his car. Getting to his car, he heard Jaiden pitiful screams coming from inside the house and he let out a satisfying smile. That was just the beginning of misery for him.

A soft moan escaped Emily lips as bright white light pierces through her eyelids that only moments before had held darkness. She slowly blinked her eyes open, the light nearly blinding as the the last dregs of sleep weigh heavily in her mind.

“Emily? Emily?” She heard a distant voice call her.

Turning to the direction of the voice, she couldn’t see the person’s face well because of her blurry vision. Blinking again and again, her vision became a little clearer and Niguel’s face came into view.

“Niguel..” she tried sitting up but a strong wave of headache hit her, earning a groan from her lips and she went crashing back on the bed.

“Don’t sit up dear, you’re still weak.” Emily heard a feminine voice mutter beside her and turning to her side saw a beautiful woman sitting beside her bed.

She was probably in her early 60’s.

“Emily meet my mom, Mrs Eagan. Mom meet my fiancee, Emily.” Niguel introduced.

“Oh my dear, I’m sorry we had to meet like this, I heard what happened to you and I couldn’t help but rush over, how are you feeling now?” Mrs Eagan asked, concern written all over her face.

“Tsk, drop the formalities child. Good child, shouldn’t you change the way you call me?” Mrs Eagan asked and Niguel chuckled.

“Mom don’t you think it’s not the right time for that right now? She just woke up.” Niguel reminded and his Mom sighed regretfully.

“If you may excuse me, I need to head to the company, I’ll come visit as soon as I am done.” Mrs Eagan announced.

“And do feed my daughter in-law well Niguelo, I’ll trust you on that.” She added, taking her bag and exited the ward.

“I can feed myself Niguel” Emily protested immediately Mrs Eagan left, slowly sitting up on her bed.

” I insist mi lady, I’m afraid it’s an order, open your mouth.” He ordered and Emily sighed defeatly. She was too weak and hungry to argue with him right now.

She slowly opened her small lips and he inserted the spoon in her mouth.

Niguel watched as she chewed the food bit by bit, her lips moving rhythmically with every movement her lips made. His anger immediately subsided watching her eat.

He continued feeding her until she was filled and wasn’t able to take in another spoon.

“I’m filled Niguel, I’m filled.” She admitted and Niguel grinned with satisfaction at his job well done.

Why was watching her so satisfying to his eyes?

“Emily!!”

His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud voice coming from the entrance of the ward.

“Olivia!” Emily squealed, seeing her best friend at the entrance of her ward.

“Oh Emily, I heard what happened, how’re you feeling now?” Olivia asked, inspecting Emily’s body like a worried mother checking for any sign of injuries or bruises.

“That bastard, he should consider himself lucky I didn’t get to him, how dare he do this to you?” She worriedly asked, seeing some faint bruises on Emily’s neck and cheeks.

“I’m fine now Olivia, it’s all over.” Emily assured, giving her a light laugh.

“I’ll leave you ladies to talk, I have some businesses to attend to.” Niguel voice boomed and that was when Olivia remembered she had totally ignored him when she came in. Gosh she was so worried about Emily she had totally ignored the CEO.

“I didn’t see you there sir Niguel, forgive me.” She quickly apologized and Niguel chuckled.

“It’s okay miss Olive, please take good care of her.” He pleaded before leaving the ward.
