Chapter 60 Revenge
Simon was so terrified that he burst into tears. He felt weak in his knees and couldn’t even stand up.
Zachary did not show any hesitation as he barked, “Take him away!”
In a flash, two soldiers stepped forward and dragged Simon away. The latter wailed with all his might,
but it was all in vain.
“Attention!” Zachary commanded his subordinates. As soon as they heard him, the soldiers saluted
Christopher respectfully, and the latter greeted them in return. Knowing Christopher’s special status
and not wanting to waste his time, Zachary left immediately with his subordinates.
“It was all thanks to you, Christopher. It almost gave me a heart attack!” Shirley was so terrified that her
legs turned to jelly. Christopher smiled faintly and said, “What’s important is that you’re not involved in
selling counterfeit drugs. Simon’s the one behind this. You can reopen the clinic after disposing of the
counterfeit drugs.”
Shirley nodded vehemently. The two of them then started sorting out the counterfeit drugs.
When it was five in the afternoon, Christopher recalled that he had to meet Diane. As Boleite Medical
Clinic had ceased operation, he decided to go home and grab some stuff before heading to
Globetrotter Winery.
At this moment, Fabio was smoking with another bald man at Nirvana Residence.
He asked in a deep voice, “Where’s your boss, Grant?”
“Calm down. He’s almost here!” Grant Shaw snapped, displeased.
Just then, Christopher appeared in front of them. Seeing him, Fabio quickly exclaimed, “That’s him,
Grant!”
“Let’s teach him a lesson,” Grant sneered.
Having a bad feeling about it, Fabio suggested, “Why don’t we wait for your boss to come before This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
beating him up, Grant? This brat was in the military. He’s got some moves!”
“The military? I used to fire cannonballs back then! Breaking his limbs is a piece of cake for me.” Grant
did not take Christopher seriously. He walked forward with Fabio in tow.
“You brat, I’ve something to tell you. Do you see the alley in front? Leave, or I will kill you,” he scoffed.
Christopher turned around and spotted the two. He smiled and said, “Are you getting back at me,
Fabio?”
“Cut the crap! Do as Grant says if you don’t want to get yourself killed,” Fabio said viciously.
Christopher flashed him a small smile without showing any hints of distress. After all, he was the
strongest fighter of Chanaea—the Underlord.
Even the most ferocious person in the world would tremble upon hearing his name, not to mention a
lackey.
Christopher’s indifferent expression sent flickers of irritation down Fabio’s veins. D*mn it! Stop being
pretentious! You’ll be the one crying later!
Upon reaching the alley, Christopher turned around and said, “I’ve shown you mercy at the
Cordringtons’ banquet that day. You have some guts to come looking for trouble again!”
“F*ck you, Christopher! I’m here to seek revenge!” Fabio said through clenched teeth.
Christopher snorted. “Revenge? You don’t stand a chance this lifetime.”
Seeing Christopher’s disdainful expression, Grant felt a wave of fury crashing through him. He shouted
at Fabio, “Why bother talking with this piece of sh*t? I’ll get rid of him now!”
As soon as he finished his sentence, Grant threw a hefty punch at Christopher’s face.
Fabio hated Christopher to the bone, especially after the latter had embarrassed him at the
Cordringtons’ banquet. Lots of people had mocked him about it whenever they saw him ever since.
“Beat him up for good, Grant. Let him know the consequences of—”
Fabio could already imagine Christopher getting beaten up and pleading for mercy. However, before he
could finish his sentence, he was taken aback by the scene before his eyes.
Christopher did not dodge away from Grant’s attack. Instead, he also unleashed a punch.
Pow!
Before Grant could land his fist on Christopher, Christopher’s punch had hit him in the chest. The next
second, he flew backward and crashed into the wall behind him. Then, with a thud, he fell to the
ground. Clasping his chest, Grant let out an agonized scream.
Pain shot through him, and he didn’t even have the strength to get back up.
