As she spoke, Jenny climbed down from the edge. The strong wind blew her hair into a tangled mess, but

As he walked away, Rowan pulled out his phone and dialed Minerva’s number.
Jenny laughed even more hysterically when she saw how desperate he had become. Her tears flowed uncontrollably. “Haha! Haha!”
Rowan’s face darkened as he heard her unsettling laughter behind him. At the same time, he heard an automated message from his phone. “The number you’ve dialed is unavailable.”
