Skylar didn't think much of it. After all, so many of their friends were at the club. But she hadn't expected Joe to come back so early the next morning. He was a bit drunk, stumbling as if he were walking on

"Are you drunk?" she asked.

Joe, who rarely drank so much that his steps would falter, cupped her face with both hands. He leaned in, pressing a hard kiss to her lips, which were squished into a pout.

Skylar hadn't expected this from him. "What are you doing?" she asked.
