Stephen poured out his words in a rush as soon as the call connected. His voice trembled with nervousness, making it sound as if he truly loved Simona to the core.

Simona had originally planned to hang up, but she accidentally answered the call.

She had gone for a shower and didn't bring her phone with her. She only heard her phone ring when she got out and planned to reject the call and block the number.

But after hearing Stephen's lengthy speech, her pale face regained a bit of color.
