Chapter 676 Fool

Colin made an excuse to get up to the bathroom.

He walked out of the door and turned to give Robert a wink.

Robert understood Colin’s meaning. After Colin left, he walked up to Dominick, leaned over, and said,

"Mr. Forrest, we have booked a suite for you upstairs. What do you think?"

Dominick was so drunk that he leaned back in his chair. "What?"

Robert smilingly said, "We won't let you sleep alone."

Hearing Robert’s words, Dominick looked happy. He put his hand around Robert's neck and said,

"Robert, among all the assistants of the boss, you are the most impressive."

Facing Dominick, Robert did not shy away and was rather respectful. "Thank you for your appreciation,

Mr. Forrest."

Dominick patted Robert on the neck with his hand. "If you want to change jobs, remember to come to

me."

Robert smiled and said nothing.

A few minutes later, Dominick's assistant took the room card from Robert and helped Dominick to

leave.

Robert accompanied them to the elevator and watched them leave with a smile.

The moment when the elevator door was closed, Robert's smile stopped and showed indifference. He

raised his hand and adjusted his collar and turned away.

After a while, Robert appeared in the parking lot, opened the driver's door, and sat down.

Robert said, "Mr. Farrell."

Colin sat in the back of the car and closed his eyes to rest. Hearing Robert, he asked in a deep voice,

"Is everything settled?"

Robert said, "Yes."

Colin said, "Whom have you found?"

Looking at the rear-view mirror, Robert replied, "A girl doing this kind of business. I paid her good

money."

Colin opened his eyes and said, "OK."

Robert understood what Colin meant and then smilingly said, "Don't worry. I won't make our artists

entertain customers. It's way too indecent."

Colin chuckled and stretched his legs. "One must have a bottom line, or he won’t be different from an

animal."

Robert chuckled, "Yes."

Robert replied and turned the steering wheel to drive.

On the road, Robert looked in the rearview mirror and said, "Dominick is a villain. In all likelihood, he

will find trouble with Brandon."

Colin smiled with his thin lips, "They are similar people."

Robert said, "Dominick is no match for Brandon."

Colin had a forced smile, "Just wait and see."

Robert said, "If Dominick had another accident, would the people behind him protect him?"

Colin mocked, "No. There is no shortage of men in the Forrest family. He is a fool who will only cause

trouble all day long. If he causes minor problems, for the sake of the Forrest family's reputation, he will

be helped. But if he really causes major problems, I'm afraid that those with high prestige in the Forrest

family will want him to die more than anyone else."

It was said that human beings died in pursuit of wealth, and birds died in pursuit of food.

In fact, the greatest weakness of human nature was power.

It was impossible for one who was accustomed to the halo of power to give up easily.

If one had experienced the glory of power, it would be worse than being killed to live a humble life.

Endured hardships to accomplish some ambition. Rebirth from the fire.

These two phrases sounded simple, but few people could fulfil them.

After Colin finished, Robert said, "I'm afraid this meal will be Dominick's last dinner."

Colin smiled sarcastically and said nothing.

More than an hour later, when the car was about to arrive at Fennth Community, Colin's mobile phone

suddenly rang in his pocket.

Colin took out his mobile phone from his pocket, glanced at Maxwell's call reminder on the screen,

touched the screen with his fingertip, and pressed to answer, "Hello, Maxwell."

Maxwell spoke seriously and gloomily, "Come to the old house." © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

Colin asked, "What's wrong?"

Maxwell said, "Faye is here."
