Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Chapter 002 Let's go to Shiveport Purr!
The motorcycle pulled over under a tree not far from the gate of the elementary school.
Annette sat on the motorcycle with one long and straight leg supporting against the ground, and took off the helmet, letting her black hair cascade over her shoulders.
She narrowed her eyes to see the gate clearly, where there was a crowd of parents waiting for I their kids.
Still ten minutes before Wancy finished his class.
A faint trace of impatience appeared in Annette’s eyes.
She flapped her backpack to the front.
Unzipped, the black backpack revealed its messy inside.
A laptop, a replica gun, a mechanical watch, three phones, two big ones and one small one.
A palm-sized roll of black cloth, a long metal box, a metal lighter, a pack of cigarettes and some lollipops.
All together they did have quite some weight.
Annette took out one of the phones.
Tens of unread messages popped out from an app.
Having noticed one of them, she raised her eyebrows, with a light smile going wild.
A black limousine came to halt slowly at the opposite side of the road.
"Young master, here it is."
Said the driver.
The car window at the right hand side slid down.
Sitting at the back of the limousine was a man in a black shirt, long legs overlapped.
He rested his arm upon the window casually, with a cigarette between the fingers which were with clear knuckles and in clean status.
He cast a look at the school as well as the clamorous crowd of pupils, and frowned.
"Don't tell me the person I am after is here."
He had fair skin, deep eyes, well-chiseled chin and lightly-compressed thin lips, all of which emitting grimness.
The driver scratched the back of his head embarrassedly.
Whichever one in this crowd would only be the last person in the world that they were looking for.
"But here is the very place where the last trace showed."
He couldn't figured it out.
The young man’s face turned a little grim.
"When was it?"
"Just ten minutes ago."
The driver replied.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
Then the young man dropped his cigarette ashes, coldly glancing over the place under the tree nearby incidentally when his attention was captured by someone.
There was a girl sitting on the motorcycle.
As her black long hair flew in the air, her face looked unbelievably beautiful.
She could be an angel from the heaven.
The brightly scarlet leather bracelet around her wrist, in particular, rendered her arm so slender and tempting.
The only pity was that her clothes were too big and loose to give away the secret of her body curves.
What a pity to be a mother at such a young age! He looked back inside the car and asked, "how long has the signal stayed here?"
"Less than one minute." The driver replied.
The man kicked on the back of driver's seat.
"How dare you bring me here when it lasted only less than one minute? He must have gone!"
"My bad, master."
The driver lowered his head.
The young man took a puff at his cigarette and extinguished it in the ashtray.
"Alright, now we go back to Colette Town and my staffs will keep tracing it."
A little boy, aged around seven or eight, was the first one to rush out.
After observing along the direction of the gate for a few seconds, his eyes shined as he spotted Annette, whom he immediately ran toward. His curly hair had been blown into a mess by the wind.He couldn't wait to pull down his school uniform. He then crammed it into his bag rudely and plunged the whole bag into the garbage can, as if running for his life.
"Annette!"
Wancy shouted out from faraway.
Annette raised her eyes from the phone and caught the sight of Wancy who was bolting toward her.She tutted, "Do you have to run?"
"I can finally get rid of this bloody place.Hurray!"
Wancy said, rolling his eyes to the school behind him with extraordinary dislike.
Annette grinned, passing to him a smaller helmet.
Wancy put it on expertly.
"Is Joanne gone?"
"Yeah."
Annette wasn't really thinking about it.
Wancy rolled his eyes again.
"What a nut!"
Annette stretched her arms out, picked him high up and placed him onto the back seat. She then threw to him her backpack which couldn't be called light.
"Why cursing her?"
"Because she is brainless! Who else should I curse?"
Wancy held the black bag tight and said assertively.
"So she really believes our uncle -the Bakers would think highly of her? They are only concerned with the property under her name!"
She kicked the kickstand up, stepped on the accelerator and the motorcycle roared along the road.
When her motocycle passed a black limousine, the car widow was slowly lifting, giving her only a glimpse of a man’s face.
Annette raised her eyes with an unnoticeable wicked smile.
"Where are we going, Annette?"
Wancy asked, holding her waist.
"Airport."
Annette answered lazily.
"We're going to Shiveport, to stay With Veromca."
