Chapter 085 Joanne wants to harm
Lorraine and you Vivian reached out to the picture prudently and immediately got ghostly pale at seeing the face with face mask and hat in it.
Yet she replied from between her teeth, "No, I don’t know this guy."
The headmaster knocked at the table and looked at her with grim eyes, "Vivian, look more carefully and tell us the answer after thinking."
Biting her lips, Vivian decided to resist to the end.
"No, sir, I really don't know this person."
Vivian's father had donated a whole dormitory building to Shiveport High School to land a place for his daughter there.
For that reason, the headmaster actually had planned to give Vivian a favor to keep her in the school as long as she would admit her wrongdoing actively.
But who could expect this Vivian girl to be that stupid and stubborn!
"You don’t know that person?"
Annette laughed lightly, delicate eyes displaying wildness.
She held her chin with one white hand and showed her phone in the air with the other idly, "I've still got another one without the face mask.Would you like to have a look?"
"Bull shit! I never took off my mask that day.How could he capture my face? "
Vivian blurted out subconsciously.
On hearing that, Annette lifted her wicked mouth corner and glared at Vivian with icy-cold eyes.
When Vivian finally realized what she'd said, she went stiff all over her body and felt the shivers tingling down the spine.
Everyone looked at her expressionlessly except Waynett who didn't even raised his head up.
"I..."
Vivian felt as if grasped by an invisible hand at the throat, and went totally blank.
Annette raised her eyebrows and leant onto the chair back.
She turned to the headmaster casually, "Sir, how will you handle this matter by the school’s rules?"
The headmaster replied in a deep voice, "Disturbing the school event and creating massive panic which inflict harm to the discipline of Grade 12 will lead to expelling from the school."
Vivian's face changed drastically and tears rolled down her cheeks immediately, "Sir, don’t expel me! Please! I confess what I've done and I’m a fool to have done that...please don’t’ expel me..." Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
But there was no reason to keep her place in the school.
"Isn't expelling too light a punishment?"
Solomon remarked at that moment, holding his arms.
"Getting expelled from school might not be sufficient to teach her a good lesson.Report it to the police. On top of due compensation, she will still face charges of reputational damage and privacy infringement.Oh, it’s been years since I handled a case of reputation disputes."
This tempest had ruined the otherwise peaceful school life of Lorraine and Annette, and had brought great trauma to Lorraine, in particular.
This matter could not be settled so easily with a simple "sorry".
Vivian almost choked with sobs, "No, please don't go for police.I really have realized my mistake.I apologize to Annette.I apologize to Lorraine. Please don’t report to the police. Please don’t get me expelled."
Her cry resounded in the conference room.
Annette stretched out her arms to rest on the table and asked blandly with a cold look, "Who told you the matters about my fighting and dropping out of school in the past?"
Those things of more than a decade ago should have been long forgotten unless deliberately reminded.
Hearing that, Vivian paused for a second, though still in tears.
She then galvanized to cry vehemently, "Joanne! It was she who told me about that.Annette, it was Joanne who set traps for you! She is jealous of you because you upstage her in the school BBS and Lorraine gets the highest score. It's Joanne! It's she who wants to harm Lorraine and you!"
Lorraine's pale face was full of shock.
Joanne was Annette’s younger sister, and how could she treat Annette in that way?!"Really?"
Annette exclaimed slowly and kind of incredulously.
